Looking at both it's not one over the other, it's which faults you are more accepting of, at the end of the day there's mods you can do to both of them that will make it much better

So, would it be possible to do a summary list of the differences here so some could make an informed decision? I'm sure there are multiple threads on this, but would be great to see it all in one place.

I've received a noob PAM 026, which is quite nice except for the DLC color (a bit of a brown tings to it)...

Do you know if a watch can be stripped and re-DLCed or even DLCed over the existing?

I just received a NF PAM 026...

Watch is great in all aspects except the DLC color seems to have a brown tinge to it; almost like an extremely dark bronze.

I expected it to be a medium to dark grey color with some hints of deep purple depending on the light... I've tried to photograph it, but it's difficult.

Has anyone had this problem?

What can you guys suggest for replacing the end links and clasp, as that's where I have the problems. It constantly unbuckles itself.

When I bought my gen Bond Seamaster back in '98, the clasp was always opening on its own for over a month (I was [censored] off, but didn't have time or patience to bring it in to get it repaired)... after some time, it stopped opening.

Funnily enough, it seems that due to manufacturing tolerances needed for the mechanism, there's some wear that needs to happen before they work properly.

Uhm... So since 23mm straps are impossible to find, should I got a 24 or a 22mm in your opinion?

Got pool water (with chlorine) in one of my gens and it was an arm and a leg to get the repairs done... the pool chlorine was the real killer in my case, ate the [censored] out of the dial & hands lume and worked its way into the movement quite well too :-(

yes... very, very similar, but I'm liking the Ancon a bit more, especially that it has a sapphire crystal instead of mineral... Plus I think the Ancon is $300 or more cheaper...

One thing I've noticed in the lume shots of the gen is that the hands ate the same as the dial color. I'm not seeing this here though. .. why can't these guys get it right?
