i got it directly from Ken Trading back in 2004. i paid ~1000$ - so i am 112% sure that it is a Gen ;-) got it with 2 straps (one black horseleather watherproff, one brown connenlyleather), 2 screwdrivers, 2 pairs of screwset, 2 pairs of strap tubes, one fat buckle, one cloth. all the paperwork from Ken Trading but the MM20 came in 3-4 diffenrent runs, in the first run i seem to remember that the case was full polished, the next run (mine) it came brushed with polished bezel. the last run, i have heard that they made them with all the "leftovers", this was after Panerai got a courtordre that Ken Trading was not allowed to make and sell this watch anymore, so they was sold on other websites (think it was Easternwatches)than Ken Trading. i got the mineral version, but got the glass badly scratched, so i got a sappier glass from "thebigwatchforum", but it is the same shape as the mineral so it do not have the distortion as the original sappier from Ken Trading.

on the Gen MM20 i got from Ken Trading the unitas 6497 looks like this. and the color on the "Marina Militare" also seems correct, these are not printede but laser etched in to the metal, so it seems more lightbrownish than the "Swiss Made" that are printed in white. it looks gen, but yes it seems to be mineral.

phew - glad that it was sortet out.. sorry to make a fuzz - didnt know that there was difference in working noworking PR lug size... BR jesper
-
if it is the 5004 you have comming - then it should be 24 mm lugwidth, not 22. at least that is what the lugwidth is on my 5004
-
I bought it as a DIY project from DavidsenJPN. was the first watch i put together by my self then i bought a strap from Manifatture Firenze and mounted on the 26 - love the watch - my top 2 favorite
-
yep the daylight have been used quiet abit :-) - have been amaisingly stabel for a lowbeat A7750 - not a single problem at all... the daytona is not my cup of tee...but it just sits there... just got the Cartier i waited for that is more me :-) ohh i also had a DRSD 1665 from PT - but the datewheel was stuck, and in the process of trying to fix it, i must admit that i also broke the stem - so now it is just laying there :-( - typical -
-
i just bought this one unused rolex for my GF - like the look
-
i got it of ebay 3-4 years ago - about 30$
-
hehe - i am not really in to goldwatches ;-) but just recieved this for the GF - and that is all bling bling, gold, mother of pearl and stones. hope she likes it....... amaising watch @ 65$, and surpricingly a automatik watch and not a Quartz - from a fellow member - Thanks Pane
-
not much to say :-) it is a A7750 lowbeat that have some issues - think it needs a service as it unstabel, sometime it runs, sometime it stops. but all subdials works perfect and resets perfect. But i have had problems finding a watchman that what to service a rep. It have the Rolex crown etched in the glass @6 barely viewable, and the running seconds is also @6 i bought it 4 years ago from a fellow member - but i have never used it more than a few days - i am not much of a rolex guy. but i like this Daytona version - but not enough to use it :-)

just wanted to show the collection i have as for now, some gens more reps . nothing extraordinary - just a nice varios collection....

marinamm20 replied to paneristi's topic in The Panerai Area
i have seen one on Repgeek.com fitting 26mm lugs. think it was 55 $ http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=65226 -
hmmm i have to take some pics of the UPS lady when the next 2 watches arrives but i have taken some more pics of the IWC BP 5004, i couldnt live with the crappy strap so i mounted a Dinozei Croc strap - looks ok eve though it is not aviator style. i will let you judge the looks.
-
have my new IWC BP on the wrist - i guess it will stay for a looong time
-
all the talk about IWC made me want one. long i have had my eyes on the BP, so i took the ploung and ordred one from Precious Time. as always he is a fast and trusthy dealer - deliveres as promished and fast. must say it is a beauty IRL, but i know it is not the most accurate version. but the strap needs attention - have fallen in love with a Gorilla ostrich aviator strap.... but on to the pics - guess all know the watch - the nice UPS lady posing and a couple of wristshots - sorry for the poor quality - camphone
