  1. Hey we're so mellow I got all my watches dates on the 12... I lost a day somewhere.. I'll go look for it after the game..
  2. don't know jf ... maybe this is another galaxy... .. I'm stuck on the 12th here on our little Pacific Rock...
  3. I'll settle for the Asian ETA.. it is 28.8k.. I think the key point here is the replication of the timepiece was started the day that the genuine was released to the AD... and it is being delivered at a very affordable price, given that I'm sure I'll find the same details on the rep that are on the genuine... What makes this even more of a bonus for me is this replica was done (to my understanding) by one of the top makers,..it's been about what 7-8 months ??.. cannot wait !!!! And Mr. Yim.. Can we please put to rest the "lies" portion of your post .. that happened before you were around ?? I think we all have gotten past that .. thanks..
  4. .................................. .............................................. .............................................................................. You will be more surprised by the price tag.....
  5. Nikos ..seems like you should settle this off the board.. if you are frustrated and venting without due process.. then that is not fair to PMF.. this cannot be resolved in a public forum ... IMO.. it has to be done mano o mano.. and i think if you calm down you will find it will happen sooner than later ... gotta give PMF the benefit of the doubt .. sounds just like some miscommunication.. hope you can resolve this in private..
  6. Great Pics Tak... Thanks for your time spent.. It's aheavy beast.. isn't it ?.. Live Strong and Wear it Well.. Lani
  7. the genuine is ceramic.... so if you are looking for genuine "like" reps.. nuff said somewhere in the "other brands" I compared the two and how they differ months ago.. gotta do a search with the search button and not the shout box
  8. Thank you All !!! First thing would be to get some proper tools.. then practice on some dead reps... can't damage something thats already dead.. thanks again. R
  9. I can feel for your frustration.. Niko.. but I don't think the admin team is here to arbitrate disputes between members ... that is just my "feeling" .. in other words they are not a "clearing house" for "deals" .. this is the down side and "risk" with purchases or trades ..... member to member If Pamf... is around anymore I hope he can at least answer your emails .. you should note that he is a member from 06 but very few post.. that tells you he is not here as often ..as most .. so hopefully he will get in touch with you members should really start inquiring ... references etc. before doing trades or sending money..
  10. ahhh.. I disagree... i have a genuine crystal in my Franken PO .. and I have a chieftang coated crystal to go in another PO.. (the Pumpkin).. and just a side by side without actually having the genuine dial in pumpkin.... Chieftangs AR beats the genuine in quality and effectiveness .. hands down... no contest... Elvis has Left the Building ... this is all she wrote....... and that is saying a lot .. since the Quality of the genuine is well... "the genuine" ... but Chief T. takes it to a whole nother level.. Plus the difference in price is about 119.00 usd.. more for the genuine that is not as effective.. georgeous .. but .. chiefs is euphoric...
  11. the Genuine crown I got is listed as a 6mm ss original 1655 25j .. very thin crown.. I was given the tube.. the tube may very well be after market.. it measures under 5mm .. if that is of any help.. sorry I was sent the tube in a plain plastic.. no markings
  12. I am very tentative to attempt the removal and reinstalling of hands.. this tool looks "idiot proof".. well sort of.. thoughts from experienced members and those who learned the "hard way".. is it really that difficult.. what is the "degree of difficulty"?? thanks in advance Lani For removing and installing hand sets
  13. sounds like a slow day
  14. The Heavy Hitters post their vintage timepieces My Humble choice for Tuesday ..
  15. Thank you for the story of how your T9411 came to be Ubi... that put's (for me) more relavance into the timepiece.. reading about the Journey.. although I think this was your humble "readers digest version" and condensed for the thread .. I'm literally drooling over your dials .. since you posted them yesterday.. been back to admire them this morning with coffee.. It's really not the value of the genuine that intrigues me .. but the design of the dial lines and those HANDS.. sheesh.. Live Strong and Wear it Well Ubi.. Aloha~Cheers R (too)
  16. Welcome Era !!!... as a member I can say .. you have definitely come to the right place for replica watches.. and a lot more than that actually !! I have had nothing but good experiences with eurotimes as well as other forum collectors ... if there is a problem it becomes a solution in the matter of an email.. so come join us in this obsessive search for the perfect replication Aloha Lani
  17. Beautiful place to Holiday.. The Med. must be great diving..someday ...
  18. Sunday Fresh unmodified 5513 case ... to be continued
  19. Whooooowwww !!! Shoot the Heavy Hitters ...have appeared!!! Ubi... Laz... dluddy..kruzer....Stephane....prof ....toomuchgear earlier..mikellem too this is so true Ubi.. it is also for me the "journey and not the destination".. the most joy is finally sourcing the parts and the hunt for them.. agree 110% and Thank you @Dluddy and Stephane... the 1655 may very well take the longest as I have been trying to get this going for a while now.. just needed some genuine pics to look at .. after TMG tech support and DBR actually handling the genuine article.. thank you fro the encouragement.. means a lot So it goes... empty my bank account for the parts ... first step in the journey.. It is the natural evolution of this hobby .. if one is interested enough (or obsessed enough) it takes time to learn .. and more time to get the learning correct... or some choose to buy modded watches.. i choose the slower process.. it's more rewarding.. kind of like I had something to do with earning the end product.. and as Ubi say's it's the road and the journey and at journey's end .. we start another path... @kruzer.. and as alway's my friend thank you for your positive effect.. thanks W.... Well.. I already sourced some genuine parts for the 369/5513 .. so I don't know what I'm smiling about.. after paying for them
  20. Rocky Patel and Don Pepin .. are the best smokes on your list ... but these will only be appreciated by smokers with experienced palates The Padrons are also very good vitolas.. but again wasted on the inexperienced Forget Cohiba... Bolivar .. Monte's .. outside of Cuba. the Dominican leaf is just not happening... they are too pricey for what you get Now LD knows his smokes Fuente Opux X.. the only stick outside of Cuba with "aging" power.. i have some aged 9 year olds... they are euphoric.... but fresh they sell for 25 to 40 usd per stick.. Macanudos are for beginning novice.. weak .. very mild .. but too pricey if there are inlaws you want to impress.. Rocky Patel and Don Pepin .. La Gloria Cubana is very good also.. all these are Full Flavoured otherwise ..Go to JR Tobacco and get whatever is on Special..or Factory Seconds.. if these people are not avid Cigar Afficianados.. they will not care.. probably not even finish let alone nub any stick.. as for Customs.. nigaraguan tobaco can come to the US.. but cannot go back to Nicaragua for the US..check with Fed ex or Ups regarding tobaco shipments.. may be easier to ship it beore you leave for there.. I've read their laws.. but only pertaining to recieving cigars in the US..
  21. your kidding right ???.. this is the 1950 "Deep Sea" this was the precursor to the Submariner .. i stand to be correted.. but I posted a pic of this on another thread.. this was by a Frwnch deaigner.. who wanted a ocean watch that could be worn as a dress watch .. in 1950 no less.. this is.... RARE..... ok so how did you do the image trick ??
  22. I was actually timing this to see how long it would take you to appear TMG !!. .. having a blast researching the history and searching .. but I'm learning more about the experimental years.. this 1950's model was designed to look like a dress watch .. leave it to the French..History keeps repeating itself.. rolex surely did "conquer the deep sea" you will be getting many pms my friend.. DBR too !!!
  23. circa... 1954-55 the 6200...(model) for depth and movmt. .. still searching for the dial i have.. looks like I may have one made actually .... this is auguably the rarest of sub models.. I think this is the first sub.. featured in the 1954 Basel show.. correct me if I'm wrong.. (actually I KNOW everyone will).. heres the 1550 "deep sea"
