You can use a dremel and metal polish.. some members use ammonia.. acetone which is found in good quality nail polish remover.. it should be doulbe sided but it sounds like your just concerned with the outside -

It's the gen copy.. the blue lume will not glow like SL .... Ziggy can improve it. but Blue lume is not as strong as C3 .. as I have the re-lumed blue on my BR94-02 -
Good to see you back posting E ,.. it's been awhile.. going to the SMP for Sunday Go Vikings AC/Lani

Welcome to RWG.. any rep you buy can be improved.. look here for the Omega SMP line>Here here is mine .. it is advised to swap a gen tube and crown for practical purpose also, the tips of the hands have been repainted to match the red of the inner bezel markings Or if it's the vintage look you fancy the SMP Chrono sold by some of the dealers here is what you may refer to as a "Super Rep" I would suggest sticking with RWG's dealers.. they can be trusted and have the best quality on the net.. alot of other sites on the net may steal their pics.. but may not have the same replications.. Holla if you need further assistance.. AC/Lani

Welcome Fan you can find a full range of PO's >Here I would suggest getting the eta movement.. it will be worth it.. for Chief ..he has a section .. and you need to wait until his next run .. for Modders.. Ziggy and Vac are RWG's 2 in house watch smiths.. initial contact is by PM .. they are the best and may I suggest to stick with the trusted dealers here.. you will not be scammed.. others may claim to be able to mod your watch .. but to do so would put your rep and money at risk.. give a holla if you need an assist with anything.. you may want to go to the intro section and let the community welcome you into the community AC/Lani

Agree 100 with Unregistered.. you can only take the rep so far and it will never be 1:1.. but you are the one that has to wear it and be happy with it.. if 300 usd will do this great.. if you spend 1k or more and your totally happy and 'enjoy" wearing it.. great!!.. start with the basic and you can always add and mod .. that is the thrill of this hobby.. the hunt..the sourcing of parts..and then one project is finished.. you still have another on deck.. you will never find a "out of the box" rep for 300 or even 400 usd that cannot be improved..

Gen dial for UPO Chrono (correct subdials)?
lanikai replied to chrono_lover's topic in The Omega Area
"if" the dial fits.. it would be nice to have.. you should consider getting the crystal AR'd with Chief the rep AR just destroys the gen dial.. and the gen crystal is a little over 200 usd now I think.. and chiefs is of much better quality.. -
it'll be scanned and put in the system once it leaves it's point of Origin.. no worry.. relax..
-
Little Hero was selling fully modded pieces for a little over 1k.. but like deniz says to get a really good one you gotta start with a "out o the box" and add you own parts..or buy one from a member already modded..anyway you slice it it will cost more than the dealers reps..

Pure beauty.. concepta is making some great frankens .. maybe...

It just depends on "when" it gets scanned.. this being the weekend things are slowed.. plus in Conus a lot of Postal units have been closed.. and workers laid off and hours cut back.. weekend is always slower.. so it will be scanned before it gets on the plane.. no worries
-
EMS.. has not been as fast lately.. but Josh has a contact in the UK for you to get it safely.. so no worries.. as long as you get it.. .. what used to take 4 days to Conus could take up to 10 now depending .. the insert will have to be sanded down to fit properly .. it is not from the same maker .. but will make a big difference with the correct 10 spacing.. the ETA is always a safe way to go also.. looking forward to your pics

Welcome to the rep world.. some forums .. have their own business going .. not that it is a bad thing.. but people all over the world have vested interest in money.. All the dealers are sales people.. of course it is what they do.. but I have been buying from Joshua for some years now.. and nodealer can control 100 what the makers put in their watches as far as movements.. but Perfect clones as well as Trusty and King watch.. honours their after sales service with due diligence., and yes Joshua has tols me also .. when "not" to spend money on a certain rep. Remembering .. Joshua and a couple other dealers actually source the genuine models for dissection.. and are given a short term for exclusive sales .. and all the factory dealers are "supposed" to follow the pricing guidelines from the maker so no one undercuts each other.. if it were your money that was the "seed" money to start rep .. I'm sure you would feel the same way.. and there are lots of dealers that Pirate.. or to be more to point "steal" Joshua's pics to lure customers to their web sites.. but to point Joshua and others have now the best DSSD in the Ultimate .. and have sourced the corrected bezel insert from another maker .. seethe links below.. Ulitmate DSSD Review corrected Insert Joshua nd andrew have also donated more reps to raffle to keep this forum's rent payed above and beyond their dealer fees to the Forum.. You'll here that they're prices are higher.. they are a bit.. I pay it .. like paying insurance.. cause for all the parts that Joshua has sourced for me it has been well worth it.. AC/Lani

Favorite watch brand for a particular profession?

ditto.. all the shots of recent flicks seem to have the Daytona in them I'd wonder what a flight steward carried in his/her luggage for delivery if I saw one wearing a gen Daytona.. -

Actually I like the beveled edge it gives another dimension to the finish of the bezel, since the bevel is polished and the top of the bezel seems to have been polished then brushed i like the contrast..
