  1. You can't expect much from that company. Their highest end timepieces are now Movado and Rado as a corporation; now that they sold off Bailey Banks and Biddle. You have to find someone that loves it like we do. If she's hot you can teach! Where are the pics?
  2. I am saddened that I know not where the PAW is!
  3. Howdy guys! I need some help! A friend brought me back the rep of my dreams from overseas. It's what dreams are made of. Everything is perfect, but I messed up! I forgot to fix all the screws before wearing it! I lost two screws already. Anyone know who can do something quick? It would be a shame to not be able to wear this gorgeous rep! I thought it at first to be a PAM00125 but after getting out the micrometer it looks like a PAM00090. The screw that holds the perfectly fitted crown guard is gone and so is one that goes on the pin for the strap. ARGH I can't explain and my photos are crap! Anyone know how to help me or can you stop my freaking out?
  4. I wanna know of the not so legal hobby!!! My interest is peaked. It has to be legal in some countries!!!
  5. Another Texan glad to have you aboard! This place is great! Have fun.
  6. After reading this I got two out of the case and checked neither had that problem. I would suggest having the store getting you a replacement. Did you get a good deal? PM me and I'll see if I can do better... Maybe you need a refund.. What a jeweler will say on a slow sales Saturday!!!
  7. My brain is about to EXPLODE!!!! I love the scalloped bezel...
  8. I got 98% Dixie... I think General Lee was a great great uncle though... <----whistling dixie
  9. If your image of Asian movements is a kowloon sweatshop and your image of Swiss is an artisanale old gent in a cottage in the alps, with chocolate and cuckoo clocks and yodelling in the distance, then I'm sorry to shatter your illusion. Pug you are a rep PIMP! Thanks for the informative reply!
  10. Hi, Could you elaborate on the statement as long as you realize the Swiss 7750's aren't really Swiss ?
  11. Pierre Wygant and I worked together for a while before I got on the sight. I saw several of his replicas come in and the quality changed my snobbery to an enjoyment of quality replicas!
  12. Thanks guys I prefer swiss but I wasn't sure about the Asian Valjoux. Thanks to all responders!
  13. Hi - Please tell me. I am under the impression that the A sian Valjoux movements are unreliable and have an array of irritating problems. Correct me if I am wrong. You guys with both-If you could tell me your experience it would be apreciated.
  14. Bruce, I have been in the diamond biz for over 12 yrs. If you have any questions just pm me. I can get you great prices and answer any questions you might have. I have a slight differing opinion to Robert about cut. Shape is not cut(in my opinion). Cut is proportion and placement of facets. Less than 1% of gem quality stones are ever cut to ideal or exacting specifications. Proper proportions can effect the price of a stone 60-75%. http://jewelry.about.com/cs/thefourcs/a/diamond_cut.htm
  15. My watchmaker said he is working on 11 reps right now. When I told him my interest he said that I had to see his Sub rep, and that he would wear it next time he picks up/ drops off. Another rep lover!
  16. I have left a message with my watchmaker to call me. I don't think he'll have any problems. If he does I do know a few others that are cool.
  17. DFW I am working at a jewelery store here in Southlake, Texas.
  18. Howdy everyone. Newbie here I am in love with movements and a friend told me that RWG was the place to be since I still havent won the lotto. My dream is a vintage triple bridge but thats enough for now. I wanna search and see what is the latest and greatest! Have a great day
