  2. Saturday My Omega Breitling Hybrid...The sun is rising. Sunday Morning Evening
  3. Wearing my Hybrid Omega-Breitling. Heavy piece. Big Dial. 3rd year...still going strong. The sun is rising!...love the sun/moon face.
  4. Oops, I seem to have touched a raw nerve here for many. I didnt mean to. Perhaps I have been more exposed to low quality reps and do require to indulge in some more serious quality buying. I retract my statement. RWG rocks
  5. Hi all, I am a watch lover owning many reps and a few gens. If I pile my reps on one side and the gens on the other...the prices of all reps together fall short by a lot when compared to even one gen. But though I indulge in a lot of rep buying, I feel pride when I wear a gen. I was wondering about this rep watch craze....what is the psyche behind it. 1. Money? 2. A similar looking Dial? 3. The want to own many designs? I do feel pride when I wear my rep rolexes but it is in a gathering where the people are not well informed about spotting a rolex. Same too with IWC, Paneria, Bvlgari, Omega. But in a power gathering I always opt for gens. Why do we love reps? A hundred reps can never give us the pride of one gen...deep in our hearts.
  6. BVLgari today. Its a heavy piece and love its presence on my wrist.
  7. B&R for me as I kick start this week
  8. What else but Rolex... a green watch for a green weekend...
  9. I am wearing this today. Love this complication. and the dial.
  10. Thats an excellent piece Laz.
  11. Omega Speedmaster 1957 Limited Edition For Thursday
  12. Agree with Lani. In this pic, a very frequently used Rolex Gold Daytona shows signs of wear near the pushers whereas the rolex sub or the rose gold Omega are still pristine for I use them sparingly.
  13. Actually jkarpas, When I bought these pieces (about 4 years back) I never knew that they were apart from the gens. I went in for Big Dials and pieces which looked good on my wrist. I was a newbee in watch collecting. But as time passed I understood the entire thing about replica watches and how owning a watch closest to the gen actually gives you a high. Since then many of my collections have been closer to the gens, like Rolex, IWC, Omega, Bvlgari, Montblanc, Bell & Ross, etc. I will post pics of those in relevant Brand Areas. and yes...I did not pay much for these hybrids.
  14. Thanks to all I thought so too. I have another excellent heavy piece which is a hybrid of Omega PlanetOcean and Breitling Montbrilliant Olympus. It is written on the dial Omega Montbrilliant Olympus!! But it is one of the best pieces I have...running in its fourth year now.
  15. I bought this piece a few years ago. It has given me exemplary service and keeps time well. But I always wondered whether a gen of this model exists? The dial color ( which I love) is unique.
  16. yes Lani, I got the idea when I went to the local watchsmith for a minor repair. I felt the orange rotating inner bezel and the white/silver subdials made one watch too loud and the other too bland. I feel this is a more balancing combo. I wanted to ask the members of the forum...how do you get AR coating on your watch crystals? Sunday wear....unknown Ferrari rep.
  17. Friday Blue Saturday orange IWC Cousteau
  18. I am torn between two beautiful and heavy options. Shall it be the Blue one or the Orange?
