  1. @Nanuq - having spent some time in your neighbouring country I can fully appreciate that. Got a great pair of Ecco Yaks last time, they are the business Glastonbury essentials
  2. Where do you buy your shoes out of interest?
  3. My goodness, what size feet do you have?
  4. Rather bright an cheerful Churches, you can tell Prada have taken them over
  5. You are without a doubt a man of style and panache. So, come on then, how about the rest of the forum. We cant be the only three with something to show and tell?
  6. On the more rugged styles I am quite fond of these. Comes with a free gun dog and side by side Holland and Holland
  7. Funky but being an elderly sort of Englishman I cant wear such trendy things. it fails to go with my tweed Here's the type of thing I am seeking With a full gloss brown crock, anda slightly more chisel toe
  8. IS what it is, I have used both in the job and each has a place. I tend now to have a very high spec laptop which is upgradable using card based sawap outs. I also run it on a partition as a Hackintosh so best of both. My advice it look at a Clevo if looks are not the be all and end all. The cards are swapable for higher spec as time progresses and the cooling system is man enough to keep the thing sweet. It really depends on what you want to do with it now and in a few years. Obvioulsy cost is a significant factor for a lot of people so look to your budget and get the best available inside that. I would also suggest looking at teh Samsung 7 series, they off a good amount of bang for buck.
  9. ahahha, never, your choice of exotics skins is most excellent. I would love to get a classic chelsea boot in a tan croc or gator but cant quite find the style I want.
  10. Especially fond of those two tone, tan toecaps, splendid!
  11. You misunderstad me kind Sir. I mean these atrocities You choices are quite the modern man about town.
  12. You crazy Dutchie types, much nicer than those awful Croc plastic things. Try these pair of beauties which are wearing in nicely. More of the collection heading your way soon
  13. Okay, misplaced my wrist but the current daily drivers are the DeepSea Challenge and this rather fetching Graham Night Ranger
  14. You dont have to tell me, I see this all the time in my industry. Buy this rep and the terrorists win etc.
  15. + another. He has been spot on with every purchase and I like the fact he will send you photos of the actual watch you will get, saves messing about later. I hope he will be back soon
  16. I am unsure of the actual dimensions of the crown itself but I would estimate 8-10mm. True enough Freddy, I amguessing there will be a new revision at some time, I am a great fan of the thing though, much like the Egi, it will be a bit niche so we will see how it works out.
  17. Hi All Currently loving my new Rolex sea monster behemoth but a few things are nigglign me. The main one being the lack of a good crown, it looks like an Amstrad volume control from '81 and not like a testosterone control valve. Can anyone suggest how this might be possible to fix, custom made crown or a similar one modded? Cheers
  18. Hi All Just tried to log on to Toros site and get the "BUSTED" ant counterfeit page. Anyone have any news? I will drop a mail and see if there a change coming up/
  19. Indeed Mike, I am wearing this one a lot but I tend to fall back to the Graham as a more practical daily driver
  20. I tihnk it makes little difference how big the watch is, its having confidence to pull it off. Trust me after a few days you get accustomed to the comments, not all negative. If in doubt you can always use it as a shield should bad things happen
  21. The Egi is a bit more of a challenge, 9mm make a big difference, least that what I tell the missus
  22. 8.5 inch wrist (beer arm) the other one doesnt get much work though
  23. You know when you have wrist.... note to self: Spend more time with the wife Just got this form Toro and its a beast, its not really a high end rep but with a bit of work it could be great. Little niggles like the printed crown on the erm crown, movement shift when pushing crown in and a few bitslike that but equally for wrist presence it would take an Egi to beat it.
