  1. about $400.00 for a tw best tt blue sub, about $600.00 in mods, include changing dial. $!000.00 for about a 97% accurate rep. gen $7100.00 plus tax about $5600.00 for a nice used one. it's just a matter of what you want. i wouldn't do it for a watch you can buy for $2000.00 used but some people might. it's all up to the person.
  2. uaw, i just like tony montana. lol. but i have a sl of fire arms.
  3. joe has had one of my watches for a couple of months and it is a big time mod. i told him that i was not in a hurry at all and if he had other customers that he needed to work on before me not to worry about it. all i was intresed in was how it looked when i get it back. i have not talked to him. i have offered to send him money several times but he has refused any kind of payment until he starts on it. i told him to just tell me when he needs and i would send. so as far as i am concerned i have no problem. i still stand buy what i told him. if he needs to take care of others before he does mine that is fine with me. i hope he is ok and every thing works out well for every one involved.
  4. yes i'm with you. it is certainly intresting reading. i hope everything works out for everyone involved. i really hope whatever the problem joe is experiancing works it's self out. good luck all.
  5. thats what makes our country great. everybody can have and express their own opinion, and spend their money how they see fit. as for buying the used gen? that depends on the watch you are doing. a omega po at $310.00 shipped to us from pt, plus $700.00 of mods? $1010.00, no. you can get tz 97% for $1700.00. have seen many for sale. a tt blue sub at $7100.00 new, used $5800.00, yes. tw best $400.00, $600.00 in mods, $1000.00 for 97% acuracy for me yes i would do it, but thats just me. it's all up to the indavidual.
  6. Okay, my post probably make no sense to you at this point, but my main idea is that the watch is fine for a rep of the quality we expect but not for $600. It seems to me the guy missed the original point of RWG. Taking a $200 watch and fiddling around with it for a while is never going to turn it in to a $600 watch. I don't see this guy's actions as any more intelligent than a bestswiss.com customer. This thread is a great example of what not to do, but the only guy that should be blamed is the one that wrote the very first post.
  7. is that watch cool or what? i'll take one and the blue dial will do just fine!!!!
  8. i can see you have not read one of these letters. you do not give any imformation on this letter nor do you have to lie about anything because their are no questions asked. the letter is a notifacation that you, as the importer of said package have the right to contest the seizure of the item or you can sign the letter, giving up your rights to the package and if their has not been a penality acessed they will start disposal proceedings at no cost to you. other than that it just lists the laws dealing with intalectual property rights and tells you what proof you will have to supply if you wish to prove the item is real. they already have you as the importer of the package. they do not ask if you ordered it or any further information at all. all that , i didn't order anything crap is useless because you are never asked. but like i said, feel free to handle it how ever you wish it certainly doesn't matter to me. i was just explaining how it works. and you can rest assured my lawyers are always notified of any legal matters i have to attednd to and i do so under their direction. but if i were you i would do it how ever you are comfortable with it.
  9. you have no reason to not sign a disposal form. the form states that no penaltys have been assigned and you are giveing up your rights to dispute the seizure. if you did not order the items in question ( witch is what you will tell them if you are asked ) then ofcourse you would sign because in effect you are telling them, go ahead and destroy the items, they are not mine, i don't care what you do with them. if you do not sign you just look suspicious like you are trying to delay the innevitable or be uncoroperative when if the items are not yours you would not care what they do. you are not admiting any guilt, and the letters are sent registerd and you have to sign for them, so they know you received, then you look like you are trying to blow them off. if you are not guilty of anything you would not have any problem with this. but, buy all means, handle this how ever you feel comfortable because the only part of this that is illeagal is the importation and you are listed as the importer. you are the one they come for if they want, not the person that sent the package to you.
  10. in us the dealer, or sender, is responsable for delivery. the deal is not done until the product is in your hand. the dealers here are well aware of this and they add cost to the product to cover this incase it happens. whom ever it was that packaged the items sent (dealer or supplier) would be considered the expert in shipping things of this nature and full well knows the increased risk of sending multipal items in one package, a 3 year old would know better than to do this. they should have been sent sepratly and the extra cost added from the beginning. if the customer makes the call to send together he would be responsiable for the loss. if the dealer or supplier makes that call they are responsiable because they know better than to do this. he will receive the empty containers with a letter from customs saying the watches have been seized. later he will receive more hate mail from customs to sign and they will leave him alone, then he will receive some hate from the lawfirm representing the manufacturer. if he has not received his watches by now they have been seized. this is all from personal experiance. trust me i have seen the end of this movie and it sucks.
  11. nais??????????????????????????????????
  12. you guys are talking about what a looser this guy is. just remember this, he had 2 enzo's and a maclaren and we don't, nor will we, at least he got to roll high and hard for a while, a long while. pay close attention to his national security story. he got all of those cars shipped here and bypassed all importation laws. none of those cars were registerd here. bill gates couldn't get his 959 into this country way before 911 and this guy gets 3 of the most high profile cars in the world here after 911. trust me their is alot more to this story than what we will ever be told. he still is not in jail. i wish i was such a looser.
  13. my lv is like that only the hands do glow, but not as britely as the dial
  14. me to, mine is 12 years younger than me.
  15. i build jet aircraft, i want one of these. is this a prototype or is it in production? we really need a rep of this!
  16. i don't want to die broke, and when you die ( and you will ) you might as well do it on cnn! ps, toni was cuban.
  17. yes, i like yours to. tony is my hero. rags to riches to dead, rollin high and hard. the american dream
  18. 48 here, i want to be rich when i grow up. i already tried the famous part. it wasn't that great. lol!
  19. us customs? if so, every time i have had one their for more than about 30 hrs it has been seized and if there were more than one watch in each package and they are still their that is a very bad sign. just my personal experiance. good luck
  20. correct copy of a brietling for bently. any version, or better yet all versions, but you would think they could get at least one of them close
  21. on a gen the mid links are hollow, the sel and the clasp are plated. went to my ad and held a new black and a blue tt in my hand and i open the clasps and they were solid silver on the back side. when i questioned them about this they did not want to comment. i asked if it was gold and ss joined togeather they finally said no after i showed them it was only ss on the back side. i asked about the sel and the said it to was one peice of ss. when i ouestioned them about the crown and they said it was solid 18k. i said it was too soft and the treads would strip out they finally admitted it was a gold cap over ss. a gen doesn't have very much gold on it. go to a dealer and look, but they will not want to talk about it much, because at $ 7100.00 they have a hard time justifing the extra cost over a regular sub at $4250.00.
  22. a gen sub is 2.0 deep, a tw best is 2.1 and a cn sub is 1.8. and the case is too thin.
  23. thank you for the info. i'm going to have to get 2 jobs, so many wathces so little money.
  24. i'm wareing my black sub at the moment, but i want that omega. i've got to get me one of those. what movement should i look for? i'm going to have to study more about those.
