Hi Just got my first UPO from Homer (thanks Homer ) but like a lot of you i would love to add a couple of extra bits to make it closer to the real thing. Its a 45.5mm black/white and would like to add a gen bezel (complete with insert) and a set of gen hands. I know there was a thread a while ago listing all the codes for these bits (im in the uk and will use cousins.uk) but i cant seem to track it down. Would any uk modders be kind enough to give me the code number and prices (links) of these two gen parts? I really should know this but does the gen bezel fit straight onto a upo with no modification at all? Thanks in advance guys Regards

Just taken the bracelet off this one in preparation for a 20mm Narikaa rubber strap....spent an hour wrestling with it!! Not easy to get off are they?

Great looking watch,bet it looks good on the wrist. The pearl itself looks very good..just not centered.Its crazy that they can replicate a watch like this but still mess up centering the pearl!! Oh well,enjoy it..v.nice

I have the member id who won the watch and was going to send him a very brief message to tell him to get it to an AD as soon as possible so he can be told its a replica,dont think i should get involved though!! Its just so wrong that he paid over a grand for a 60-70 quid watch! The guy who sold it bloody well knew exactly what he was selling...[censored]!

Got another PO from Reg (from his latest jaunt) and just thought id post a couple of pics of what i consider to be slight improvements. Not going into detail as there have been many reviews of this classic and popular watch so im only going to point out that the AR on mine is particularly good in comparison to my other PO from a previous trip.. Also the "Planet Ocean" engraved wording on the caseback now has a capital P and O...just little things, but makes a difference to me!! Now if they could only get the pearl like the UPO i would be a happy bunny!!

I dont have a UPO but i do have a Narikaa PO which gets a LOT of wrist time..to me it`s a handsome,heavyweight and bloody good watch for 65 sheets. However the UPO i believe is good for modding, be it hands,bezel,dial etc. I personally love the pearl on the UPO as its very close to the gen pearl and its really the one thing that i would love to see on a porikaa!! If you would like to have a little search round here, there have been some truly great posts from members who have modded their UPO`s to the max...and boy do they look good!! Welcome to the best rep watch forum...you will have fun!!

Looks awesome mart. I often wondered how big it really was, but up against the smp it looks fine. But then again it wasn`t really the width of the watch for me it was the depth...just thought it would sit up on my wrist like morning wood!! It looks cool on your wrist though and a strong contender for a future purchase for me. Enjoy it mate.

I know PP is a convienient way to pay for items but ever since ebay forced users to accept PP as accepted payment on my account (cos they own PP) i just dont use ebay any more. I was buying and selling quite happily for a couple of years just accepting hidden cash,cheque,postal order or direct transfer into my account i accumilated 145 feedback and 100% then they started bullying people into paypal...greedy bas**rds..!! Wont use it out of principal. Sorry...rant over..
