  1. Great, how much was the startime setup?
  2. Greetings, So quite a few of you have seen my Trevor 1675 thread and now that reality has begun to creep in, I've decided to mod it. Firstly, the watch is the cartel 1:1 and my question is this: Which WSO bezel assembly do I need? This for $79 http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=160797503878 Or this for $165 http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=170838596185 My next question is how did you guys solve the caseback problem. The 1:1 has a vintage rounded case back that I don't think was correct for a late 60s thru 70s 1675. Rafflestime has this: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=150822664795 Would this case back work? If not how are you guys solving this problem. I'm going to order the Clark crystal and a hand set from raffles to fix the dodgy hour hand. So case back and WSO bezel assembly. I'm curious if the cheaper of the two will fit the 1:1 ring?? For now I'm going to keep the dial until I can find a gen. Thanks for the guidance!
  3. I'm thinking about shaving down the bezel diameter a bit. Are the results usually passable? Or should I just go with the WSO ring? Seems like it will produce the general look I'm after. Ugh I didn't want to mod but I think I have to a little bit.
  4. Btw case is engraved with "1675" on the lug
  5. Anyone have a Rolex jubilee they'd like to part with? Pm me please. The clasp I have won't fit this one.
  6. It's not perfect but it's good enough for me
  7. Yeah I removed it. It uses a plastic gasket and is held in place by friction
  8. CGs Not sure about the 3s, I'll look later
  9. Dates look fine, open 6s etc etc. the bezel is held on by double sided tape. The new bezel pressed in nicely once I shaved it a tiny bit.
  10. This arrived today and I've already replaced the bezel insert. What do you think? Regards, Joe
  11. Mine is on its way as well. Should be here this week. Trevor is great! Might want to think about a better bezel insert. I'm changing the jubilee clasp and the insert, that's all on mine.
  12. Did anyone ever track down of they're gonna clone a gmt movement
  13. Depends on if they accept gen or easily available aftermarket bezels. My 1675 build is just getting started using the 1675 from Trevor so I will let you know how the bezels fit into mine. Mileage varies depending on who supplies what.
  14. With the functionality of the ym2 not being replicated...I call shenanigans. 22k£ for something that never worked from the beginning? Naw
  15. VRF or TRF are the way to go. Vet your seller though
  16. Why not find a nice piece for sale over at the Vintage Rolex Forum? Lots of trusted sellers, better prices too. All of my Rolex/Tudor stuff comes from VRF. http://www.vintagerolexforum.com/ If you do you're homework, you'll come out on top.
  17. Try the Cellini line, maybe something in that lineup you'll like
  18. Did this project ever get off the ground?
  19. Naw, I've looked. The 2c is as good as a gmt is gonna get. The cartel 1675 isn't horrifying but not perfect like they claim.
  20. there is a cat on ebay who sells solid 9k TT bracelets. i can't remember his SN at the moment but a clever search should yield some results. they're pricey but a fraction the cost of a gen.
  21. that is a very nice piece! which bracelet is that?
  22. No the Tudor Mini Sub is 33mm. The Lady Sub is 27mm. Here is a list of all of the Tudor subs sans the Lady Sub. As you can see below there were 4 different case sizes. The standard 40mm, the 35mm reduced called a Midi (and yes that is spelled correctly), the 33mm Mini Sub, and the 27mm Lady Sub. Enjoy! 40mm 7922 7923 7924 7928 7928/0 7016 7021 9401 9401/0 9411 9411/0 94110 79090 76100 79190 35mm MIDI 76000 75090 75190 33mm MS 73090 (marked mini-sub on dial) etc is 33mm 94400 Mini-Sub 33mm w/lolipop snowflake 94401 tw0 tone 73091 two/tone 73190 white/salmon/blue/black dial, silver bezel 27mm Lady Sub Several References
  23. Yeah, you can find him in most of the Tudor related threads. He's a standup guy for sure
