  1. Ugh, if anyone has seen one, pm me. I would weep tears of joy.
  2. if you do decide to attempt this, PLEASE keep me updated. i've wanted a tudor mini sub for eons.
  3. He is a member here. Search him in the directory. He's not a dealer but he helps out some of us in our Tudor/Rolex custom builds. Heck of a nice guy
  4. Yep, the NCG 1675 is real, uncommon but real. Two main variants: the Dauphine hand and Concorde hand versions. Here is a Douphine hand from Antiquorum. http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog.html?action=load&lotid=370&auctionid=221 I think all of the 1675 NCGs had 1570 movements. I have to restate, this is really a 1675, and NOT a 6542. They look similar. Do a google search and there are all kinds of references on this beautiful piece.
  5. eBay is usually a good bet, just make sure it's the correct font and size
  6. That's not a 6542, he has an early ncg 1675
  7. The case back is pure JMB but the bracelet is a Frankenstein built by me
  8. Finally got the folded oyster bracelet installed
  9. Nanuq, you've got mail. Well, a pm anyway
  10. i don't think the bezel is aftermarket, looks pretty good to me! One of my favorites is the gold 6542 with the sword hands. rolex made some pretty interesting 18k models in the late 50s early 60s. several variations.
  11. Yep, NCG 1675 with Concorde hands. Not common but not rare either.
  12. looks like a mighty fine GMT Master 1675 18k with Concorde hands.
  13. It's the same 1680 case PT uses. Bezel is pretty decent
  14. Rolex had a glut of UAE GMT inserts after this model and actually sold them to customers as an option for a while. (trust me, i've researched this extensively) So a 1675 without the UAE markings and blue insert would also be correct, albeit very rare indeed. Best regards, Joe
  15. My PT/JMB-ified 7928 21j. Less than $200 in this one. Folded Oyster bracelet on the way.
  16. i like both of 'em. i wish they'd rep the tudor mini-sub
  17. JMB is getting my 7928 for case engraving. The man is a master!
  18. Yea please post some pics! I'd love to see what you did.
  19. oh no, another Tudor Sub build. now, i must go sit in the corner and contemplate my life. i can't wait to see how this shapes up!
  20. yeah, i read through all of the threads containing the reference number on this, and the other boards haha. I always search hard and heavy. I thought I'd ask because so many people around here build such fantastic pieces that I thought maybe someone might have a build underway. Looks like it's more trouble than it's worth. Have you found any gens that have interested you? I've looked but it seems there is a premium on these and the 16710 seems like it might be a cheaper option by a lot!
