All of us in DC, NY and accross America have so much to mourn today: Thousands of lives cut short by cowards, followed by a tremendous opportunity to marshall the world to defeat them utterly squandered, exchanged for a failed attempt at consolidated of political power, financial gain for a very few, the settling of a family score, and the disdain of the world. Here's to truly serving the memory of those who died: let's trade the failed sideshow of the last seven years for an real doubled effort to get the f****s who actually attacked us.
Amen archibald!!!! You hit the nail right on the head!!!
Thoughts and prayers to all affected by that tragic day...

Hai...
Can u help me to fix date problem in date of tag link chronograph?
Is there someone sell for that date only? Thx for ur rerponse.
You'll have to be a little more specific and tell us exactly what the "problem" is before anyone can comment on how to fix it.

absolutely BEAUTIFUL... does anyone see this for less than the $688.00 Angus has this for???
-
42 mm UPO me baby!!!!!
-
any whispers about this one... I'm really hoping they make this... I was told by several dealers that they don't make the 42mm 4th generation version any more... come on factories/dealers... don't let us down!!!
-
I have the SSD and love it. I would also recommend a Breitling SFSO (eta version)
-
Any way to tell from the pics if that is a gen???
-
Can any one point me on where to get one for a good price. Just picked up a beautiful blue SFSO (swiss eta, double AR) from cib0rgman. This is actually my second fish (had a white one once upon a time). Any help would be greatly appreciated

Wow this thread has some serious issues... and shame on you sir. I was at the Red Sox game last night when the guy next to me saw my gen sub and said "nice watch"... I looked on his wrist and he had a rep Pam 111H... I didn't say to the other guy next to me... "well that isn't real b/c of the low cannon pin, crown lever.. blah blah" I simply smiled and said "thanks, you got a beauty there too." For you to sit here and throw dollar figures out and talk about how much money you make is both sad and pathetic... and to sit here and tell us how you passed your rep off as a gen and picked on this poor guy really shows the type of person you are... you must be good at fooling people otherwise no one would buy anything from such a jerk...

I noticed the same thing with mine recently -- I am going to attempt a thinned-out wash of semi-gloss black enamel paint, which I will apply and then wipe with a clean cloth while it is still wet to leave only the recessed lettering and logos filled in.
I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks... I wish I new how they do it in the first place then i could try to replicate the factory's process
-
So i noticed yesterday that the lettering on the case back of my SSD has lost the black fill. Any idea how I can fix it?

I'll admit i have been swept up into the whole "I hope the produce more correct hand stacks (CHS) so I can get one"... but the more I think about how noticeable is it really that one hand is not stacked correctly over the other? I know the hardcore folks will say that is a must and a dead give away... but I can't think of anyone outside these forums or an AD maybe that would be able to spot that. With that it mind I know i never "call out anyone" (one time I bumped into someone at a bar who appeared to have a 4th gen 42mm PO as it had the short hands, gap in the bracelet... and tho he was talking like it was a gen I just said to him "nice watch". I don't know if other members enjoy calling people out ir looking for flaws in someone's watch... but that's not how I roll.
Time will tell if the CHS provides a less reliable movement... and if it does the CHS and higher price really worth that?!? Curious what other members think...
-
Don't know if it makes a difference to anyone but Andrew just told me a two-tone version will be released later (no date nor indication if it would have the CHS)... just throwing it out there
-
i'm confused with the first part of your story......
The guy got a watch for engagement? I did not know guys "got" anything for engagement. I have never heard of a male engagement ring.
As far as a watch for your future fiance, I would hope you cleared that with her.
In any event I would get the ring, not a watch. It is timeless. A 2k watch is not.
Get her a watch for an anniversary or more common as a wedding present the day of your wedding.
Guys getting a gift is becoming more and more common (I think it's a great idea
). A woman i work with just got engaged... she got a big rock... and she bought him a flat panel 46" lcd hdtv

Beautiful... I just wish we could do something about that etched crown... when I went to the AD you can't see then with the naked eye... on our reps you can see them from three feet away
-
That's actually a constellation... really nice
I asked Josh about this one months ago... he said the sub dial spacing is too close to be accurately repped
-
I must say a def prefer the fluted bezel... the way it catches the light is amazing!!!
-
Indeed... my father-in-law and I collect cars... as soon as the weather warms up and the snow melts I will post some pics of the z8!!!
-
Tell him "thanks but no thanks" and that you are putting your money toward a Z8
-
Glad this finally worked out for you!!!

Jeez, at first I felt I had posted superfluously (By-Tor had the gentlest retort along those lines).
But if there is a guy or gal out there with this watch, who HASN'T checked their Tag's screws -- well, do it now.
BTW, tonight I lost one Rolex springbar, and one of the DSN hands of 3. They just flew. It's St. Anthony time...
I had the same problem when I had a Tag Link Chrono I used to have... I could not find a replacement screw. This was my only complaint about the watch. Even if you have not lost it yet and can tighten it... it can come loose very easily and then you are up the proverbial creek without a paddle...

I have the same issue with my Asian SFSO. I'm sure I could fix it, if I could get the bezel off...Unfortunately, I'm not too hopeful of accomplishing this.
I tried by loosening the bezel screw, only to determine that they are just cosmetic. Then I tried to lift the bezel with a case knife, but it just won't budge. I swear, I've never seen a tighter fitting bezel. I don't want to gouge the case, so I give up. I think this one will only be coming off with a ($300) Bergeon bezel remover.
Just to add to this from what I have seen in most members pics and the SFSO that I use to have is that it is not the bezel that is misaligned, but rather the dial inside the case looks to be crooked...
-
Hi!
It would be really nice if you could tell me how to fix the misaligned Bezel on a SFSO (swiss)!
The center 12 is right between two clicks by now...is it possible to fix this anyway?
If the clicks are milled directly into the bezel ring...there will be no fix, I assume...
Can I pop the bezel off?
Please describe the things to do, I don

I just noticed that my marker at 15 is loose. The screw seems to be as tight as it is going to get. Any one have any idea how to secure it another besides the screw?
