  1. Ok...I was next to a couple at dinner last night and I spotted a 44mm Panerai on the guy's wrist. It had a brushed cased, metal bracelet, black/charcoal dial, AND a display window on the dial showing what appeared to be a Tourbillon movement. I've only seen the Tourbillons on "PAM077" and the "Antiquorum Tourbillon". At first I thought it was rep, but the fit and finish was too clean, plus the CG was beefy like a gen. I did not want to disturb them, so I did not ask him about this watch. Does anyone have any information on this mystery Panerai?
  2. Check it... http://www.thewatchquote.com/No_4248.htm I like how you can "zoom" on the dial on some of the models listed under the drop-down menu!
  3. I didn't think the date wheels were ready? I guess I was wrong...Anymore left?
  4. Let's forget about sending PMs about this parts supplier and just reveal the source!
  5. Just wondering...I'm totally loving my Don's Sharkskin strap and was wondering...
  6. I like what you did by adding the second spring bar. This should take care of the annoying, protruding clasp issue on the leather strap models.
  7. Thankfully the hags at eBay took down the listing...
  8. Did these every start selling? I was also interested in the "extra-HEAVY-duty" buckles that Angus was having made for these as well...Any updated?
  9. Currently have 19...So we are now at 2907!
  10. Check out what this member is offering.. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=21787&hl= I'm not affiliated with the seller...Just promoting a beautiful watch!
  11. WOW! I am blown away by the resolution and quality of these pictures! Thanks for sharing!
  12. Nice mods! Your first photo is really great! Hard to tell that it is NOT a gen from that photo...
  13. Ok...I totally agree with you about the crystal. I am sure the crystal can be replaced with genuine sapphire, but does anyone know the size? I too would be interested in modding my non-skeleton F.A. Jones...
  14. AGREED! Mwa-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha...I'm going to "steal" his decorating idea and do the same for my office!
  15. Just curious...Has anyone taken apart their Chronomat Evolution? I love to tinker and was thinking about taking it apart...It would be great to get some advice on this before I get started...
  16. Check it... http://www.homestead.com/rlx/DON.html I believe it's the "Cuio Tobacco Lambskin" strap. Good luck trying to contact him. If you get through, please let me know. Perhaps you could relay a message to him for me. Thanks!
  17. I could not agree more with this comment...BUYER BEWARE!
  18. I'm having trouble with the site...Anyone else?
  19. I've been looking for a replacement as well, so I think I will be opting for the 22mm width...Thanks for your input on this.
  20. Don has both 21mm and 22mm straps. I believe his 22mm straps do taper down to 18mm...Someone else should confirm this since I have not been able to get Don to reply to my emails...
  21. I just picked up this Don's Strap from deltatahoe (a great member of this forum). I find it very ironic that I have been unable to contact Don to buy from him directly so I picked up this strap from another member! Here it is on my PAM036 (one of my faves with the Tobacco Brown dial)... I know that these are not the best quality photos, but what the hey...
  22. I may try this soon...Cool project! I like the idea of punching just one hole in the strap so that it will only fit my wrist. http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tre...10487&rid=0
  23. From what I can tell, it's an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph. I believe the MSRP on this thing $17K...
  24. In some circles that's called "Price Fixing" and "Collusion"...Hmmm...Definitely a chin scratcher...
