Well, good point here. I have all of the Rolex Sportmodels before the case with the fat lugs came out. Couple of gens, frankens, BKs, MBWs... So, Rolex has nothing new for me, I looked for a new Brand. Purchased a Hublot black magic v6, nice and accurate, sitting in the watchbox. Omega - nice, but had some 20 years ago...not for me now. Then: PAM111 noob - I absolutely love it. So many strap variations - classy and sporty. Noob243 on the way from Toro. Just feel that my love is growing for Panerai. Which models do I miss? Well, a 288, 312, 380, 183 and definately a PVD Rad or Luminor as well... So many beautiful out there, so undecided... Time will show

Unfortunately this is a common problem with the sec@6 movements. I think that freddy333 has done a graphite treatment to the movement. Also is there a thread from francisco where he reviewed the daytona movement. Try the search for it, and then discuss with your watchmaker if he could perform the repair. But there is no guarantee that it work. For some watches it works for years, for some only a couple of weeks. That's life...

Date looks a little recessed and small to me - but that's just me... One of the quick release buttons do also look - let's say used... Just want to know if it is worth to get on my bike and take a closer look on it, or just spend the afternoon chillin' at the pool?

Experts, this time I am looking for an advice regarding a purchase. this PAM was offered me today in a local deal for € 170. I was looking for the new 1950 cases for a while, but don´t know if I like them. So I would give it a try, wear it for a while and upgrade for a better version if I like it. before I pull the trigger in the afternoon today, could someone please advice me re. accuracy? If it is a POS, I would stay away. afaik this is not an A7750 - could it be a seagul movt?
