  1. We are so fortunate. Give if you can?
  2. All good except no superlume.
  3. You gotta really watch the sales section here. Expect to pay up to $700 + depending on the gen parts seen here for $1100+ and pay full price as soon as you see it; otherwise someone else will and it will be gone. The new gen SS Subs are going for $8K now - so $800 for an almost perfect rep is a fraction...
  4. If it matters, it will fool 98% of people in the general public and no one here.
  5. Biggest recent design mistakes by Rolex: 1. Super Sea Dweller - yes and Gas Escape Valve on the front of the watch? wtf? 2. GMT IIc - I disagree - but am anxiously waiting for the pepsi... 3. ROLEXROLEX rehaut engraving - My eyes are going - I don't see it, or even if it's misaligned. 4. Fat lugs on the classic Submariner - I like the Sub C - I think they did a good job updating things. 5. Yacht-Master II, yeah WTF? I saw someone wearing one yesterday in Miami - egads it's so horrible... These are some BIG moves for Rolex - I remember in the late 90's when they made the move to luminova from tritium and then from hollow end links to SEL - you would have thought they redesigned the whole line...! Man these clasps are SO much better.
  6. Dunno but about 15 years ago I owned Alice Cooper's Exp. 1 - engraved and all.
  7. Mine is absolutely perfect. Spins smoothly and clicks nicely with very little pressure, which I like. I had a Noob DSSD from Vac that had some strange play and shift in the bezel - didn't care for that.
  8. Mine looks better - it's a tad off - but you really have to be looking at it head on. Otherwise as look at my wrist, ot looks just fine. IMHO the pearl on this is way better than on my VAC DSSD.
  9. Love the shark - ordered one from BK yesterday. Thanks for the pics.
  10. Fit and finish are very good - even feels right. IMHO, Bert's quality control, mods, and customer service put his watches in another league. I'm a tough customer and Bert has earned my loyalty - this is my 3rd watch from him. If you're like me and you want the best service and product and are willing to pay a little extra for peace of mind - BK is your guy. I have ordered another - this one will be "the shark". Ok - I stink at photos - so, as not to get anyone upset - my watch looks exactly like this one - lol. Thanks Bert. Looking forward to the shark. __________________
  11. Congratulations - you got me - where do I find this watch to purchase please?
  12. I like this model and the glidelock clasp is a marvel in form and function - Especially when compared to Rolexs clasps of the past But - the same thing occured to me - there are so many parts in there and it felt a little like there may be a weak point - I wasn't 100% sure to trust it especially on a rep... So the old fashioned stamped clasp may not look very good but it sure works well...
  13. I have a 1665 MBW GWSD - (it's the old style case and relumed) I did a fair amount of vintaging to it - really cool hunk of a 70's tool watch...
