  1. From what I've read, a gen caseback should fit:
  2. Any chance you saw it on repgeek? This is the first thread that came to mind for finding part numbers: http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=5991
  3. I've had these files sitting on my pc for ages. Not sure, but I think they came from this forum to start with. Click for a larger image. The 10 could do with a bit of touching up, but the other numbers look pretty good to me. Here's a pdf as well, the forum uploader wasn't working for me for some reason: http://www.filedropper.com/12699079061
  4. Looks like CousinsUK have them as well. Reference CH3804M for one with gold plates (£22.95) and CH3804BM for the silver-coloured one (£20.25). Prices ex. vat
  5. Then I have to say it sounds like an excellent idea! Also, the watchgecko site lists some watches with an ETA automatic movements so I suppose that is where the extra cost comes in, as the squale site lists them as quartz. I'm sure you already know, but just incase other people (like me ) didn't notice.
  6. Are you sure these are NOS? I was under the impression that squale still produced watches, at least it looks that way going by their site: http://www.squale.ch/ edit: never mind, I should have read the squale site a bit more carefully. They say "N.B.: this model is a 1970/80s (nos) original in all components except for the movement and strap." However, the price quoted from squale.ch (for the 1515-005 at least) is cheaper than watchgecko. Even with postage which I believe is 20 euro. Maybe you could get a better deal for a group buy if you go straight to squale themselves?
  7. I remember someone mentioning this site for getting AR done on a mkxvi crystal: sweetwatches.de/engl-index.htm It might be worth getting in touch with them. Found it. It was FxrAndy rwg.cc/topic/144958-blue-ar-for-mark-xvi/
  8. The 3 marker looks like it's at an angle, and the 9 might be a bit low between the two lines on the minute track.
  9. I remember archierocks saying something about a watchsmith in glasgow who is willing to work on reps. It might be worth sending him a pm.

It could be a ring to put around the back side of the dial to keep the date wheel from rubbing, it will have two small indents on the inside which line up with the dial feet. Or it might be the washer that fits over the hour wheel
