I agree with Chris for me the forum helps fuel my interest and enjoyment, the pleasure of frankens etc is in the ownership of the making of the watch being part of the process directly or indirectly that brings it to your wrist.

With a gen the value is more in how you earnt the money to buy it not so much in the watch or its in the kudos or fulfillment of owning that brand. With reps for me its not what it cost but what care and attention it went through to be the watch it is and the greater understanding you have of it and what went into putting it together.

I saw this on the bay. price caught my eye, bad photos feedback etc

A few things dont look right but I am no expert what do you guys think? To me CG and lever dont look right especially distance to CG, the Date font looks a little thin, the bezel markings look slightly off especially the 240 by the 3.

To be honest I dont think thats a bad thing. The logo 'Above' arrow looks too far to the middle of the E as well as too thick.

Hi,

I recently installed a Chief's cyclop with AR for one of my A series PAM project . The mag power is very good but the hue from the AR stand out loudly as compared to the crystal with AR stripped. This is incorrect for an A series model.

Can anyone suggest any method that will get rid of the cyclop AR?

Hope the expert can chime in and of course it will be nice if chief is reading my post and advise.

Surely before you waste a Chiefs AR on cyclops you should think about selling it and replacing it with one without AR, its sought after as I understand he no longer does this.

Not saying I want it though but I am sure others would welcome the chance to buy

I recently shipped out 2 watches...

USPS label was printed via paypal... on 12

watch was handed to mail man on (friday) 15th at 2:40pm

Its been about 29 hours and still no update
