  1. So am I mate! :D

I have just agreed to buy a EL case set so its getting there. Just not sure whether to wait for an EL crystal or gen. Or go ahead and get the DSN fitted when I have all the bits ready. It would be easier to decide if I had seen either in the flesh to get an idea of how different they actually are.

  2. You need a new camera mate ;) hahaha great to see this coming along

Your right mate!! I am using my daughters!! Plus I aint a great David Bailey!! My wife lost my camera (2nd one now!) I have been looking for a new one but I havent a clue which one to go for. I dont want SLR etc I aint that keen but a decent small one for family and watch use.

  4. I got 1 from Borel or Ofrei, I forget which? But very useful for broaching. :good:

Hi had a look about on here but cant find what you mean by broaching in the watch sense. Would you mind explaining pleas?

Or is it just to make the hole bigger in the hand?

    Thanks

  5. Just call by my market stall. Face to face work only for this little black duckrolleyes.gif

    O/S

Problem will be recognising you! I guess I will look for the guy with the flat cap, medallion and suitcase! :D Do you have a three wheeler?

I am keen to see how you resize using this bit of kit using the pin/needle to form the new hole.

  6. I'm also intrested in gen dials for BCE, where do I find DC ?

    Ebay mate.

Thinking about it I saw some chronomat dials while searching through eBay recently. The seller was from Australia or NZ it was watch parts store lots of vintage stuff. Sorry cant remember anymore but worth a look to find

  7. Agreed. That's why I didn't do so. My words were very clear: "...don't defend his unethical business practice proven here. That would only serve to put your character in question..."

Didn't say he was defending the unethical business practice of stealing another dealer's photos: was indicating that doing so would put the defender's character in question. It was friendly advice from my POV. I know that such is encouraged here, and I appreciate the friendly banter and open minds...even those of people more inclined to buy from a dealer who engages in such practices.

Your right your words were clear and so was your implication, and I repeat my previous comments.

When you refer to ...the unethical business practice of stealing another dealers photos... you are referring to what business ethics exactly? I had always assumed Josh sold reps... my bad!!

  8. Since that dealer is stealing Josh's pics, as is clearly evident with this one, where do you draw the line? Obviously, for you, it is at the pricepoint. That's fine. You can make that call. But don't defend his unethical business practice proven here. That would only serve to put your character in question, as well.

I gave that other site the benefit of the doubt when looking at his watches online. I had no reason to doubt the dealer. Now I do; I won't buy from him.

I'm glad I bought my first rep here via Josh just weeks ago.

I am sure Josh is as well!

I dont see anything in this discussion to question anybody's character nor do any comments serve to do so.
