Welcome mate
I hope you enjoy your time here.
Good luck with the first purchase

Had some feedback from other forums
The Omega is circa 1895
The wristwatch is a Stolkace solid gold case with a pioneer 15 jewel movement.
Not sure who or what Pioneer are if anyone knows?
Stolkace did a lot of cases for Rolex apparently and some of these cases can be found with Rolex movements but with out the Rolex 'label'

Can anyone tell me anything about these watches, such as age, movement, anything.
The pocket watch is an Omega but thats all I know. I have tried the Omega forum but no joy yet.
Thanks in advance

Agree with Matt2302 never tire of this watch. I am pretty sure it was the first watch I ever wanted too, had a couple only cause I lost the first one then ended up selling the second do regret that on some days.
Great pics of a great watch though.

Just finished modding, photographing and writing up my PAM 239...so I gotta wear it.
Great watch you must be chuffed with that

Wow... a gen Broad Arrow. Is that a recent purchase?
Amazing watch.
Thanks, Yes it is a great watch. I have had it a few years now, wouldnt part with it.

Sounds like ETZ are really doing something about it - That's great news for those of us who ordered the new V5 - I've got a final version on the way from Andrew as well so it'll be interesting to do a side by side review on the two
I wonder if there's any truth to the >30m waterproof in the description @etz?
Without an independent check I personaly wouldnt chance it even if other members said theirs was OK at 30m or any depth, just wouldnt be confident on the consistency of quality etc.
Hey, theres a review for you there!

These are my choices for today and tonight!

I got the impression from the tone of the replies that there was no value except to the more unscrupulous people.
The idea of keeping the cards really doesnt interest me but I would of thought it better to destroy them rather than let them fall into the wrong hands not necessarily now but maybe when I hang up my boots!
The only reason I am keeping the box is because of the workmanship of it, its a solid high gloss hardwood box with velvet inlay and a large chrome Omega emblem on the front.
I can appreciate the comment on history, I think. But I suppose as its modern and reasonably commonplace I dont look at it like that. I do have an old Omega pocket watch from the 20's 30's or 40's and one from the 80's I dont know anything about them to be honest, except they were me Dads and Grandads watches (hence why I bought Omegas) and Omega couldnt/wouldnt help unless I sent them to Switzerland for them to see. So in that respect I do appreciate the history.

Any news?
On my one, they are replacing it - though quite what that means I am not sure IE dial or watch? Or how long but thats a small price to pay
I know one other guy has accepted his on the back of more pics being sent out to him.

I've had pretty good luck going to Timezone's sales corner as well as WatchU Seek's private sales forum. Do a search of the exact watch your trying to sell. Unless it's a really rare or expensive model, they will probably have some sales listings. As everyone else said, look for the "Sold" listings" Just like in our sales forum here, if the watch is up for sale for a couple of weeks and the seller "bumps" it 25 times, and it isn't sold, you can probably figure it is either too expensive or something is suspect. Give that a try. I would say go over to WatchU seek and go to the Omega Forum, it's super active and there are a few really good guys who are helpful and very knowledgable, however I'm not sure about discussing prices. If you get a feel for some of the "good guys" it certainly wouldn't hurt to PM one of them and ask what they thought a fair price would be. I did a lot of research on that forum before I bought my genuine Speedmaster Pro "moon Watch" as well as my X-33. They were a big help to me.
Good luck with your sale.
Arthur
Thank you thats really useful, I appreciate your time.

Never really thought about the dark side of it, I'll sling the cards and put the box away again its too nice to sling out almost looks worth putting out as an ornament!!

Only with photographic evidence.

I do have the restraining order!!

Nice! Love the Bentley GMT. Do you swap betwen the bracelet and strap a lot? The rubber strap adds some nice contrast to the GMT I feel.
I know my wife has the black face around the house some where for me.....Is it Dec. 25th yet?
Dont like the feel of the strap, and I only wear rubber with my gimp mask so I couldnt use the watch anyway!!
It does look a good contrast though but for me only to look at.

Almost as enjoyable as a little of Beethoven's Ninth ... I'M CURED!

I'm starting to wonder if one of the boards we use as a resource to id gen watches, has posted a rep movement, as nobody here believes it is gen
Can almost hear your enjoyment on this!!!

Thanks for the replies, I tried the link but only found two one for trade and one in Canada.
I will check out Ebay again I have found a couple but they were new but will keep checking.
I suppose I was just hoping there was a site like they do for motors, sort of CAP or Glass'
Like you said Offshore comes down to if there is someone out there that wants it
Would it be worth more if I said it had been down Danni minogue's top???

I was rummaging through some old stuff and found the genuine wallet, warranty card, chrono certificate, and spec card with pictograms etc and a gen wooden omega box in white cardboard box.
Can anyone tell me if these items have a value? The watch itself was lost in the mediteranean some years ago.
-
Does anyone know if there is a way of getting an indicative value of a genuine watch on the internet? I have looked at sales sites but of course these are preowned retail and not private sale prices.
I want to value (thinking of selling) my Omega 300M Chrono Diver 2225.80.00 but I havent a clue how to value it pre-owned.
Thanks
I apologise if I am infringing any forum protocols

I cant give an answer to the question but I cant wait for the answer.

Hi PeteM
I am not sure what happened with Hotbody77's watch in UK, they are of course not supposed to be disassembled and you should always receive the watch from the pictures you approved. In hotbody77's case, there was certainly a mix-up and because of it we choose to employ a new forwarder in UK. The one working for us now is a very close personal friend of Chris and I am sure that this wont happen again. However we also took care of Hotbody77 and his new watch is on it's way!
Some of the UK orders have been delayed because of the UK postal strikes. The shipping have been delayed and our forwarder have been unable to pic up some of the packages we sent, but it seems like it is all solved and Hotbody77's watch should be shipped off from there today as well as some other delayed orders.
Yes of course we will take care of your mails, but I could not find you via your customer id so if you could maybe PM me with your email address and order id. I am guessing that by now Neo has probably already got back to you as he usually replies within 24h, but if you give me your mail adress I can easily find your mails and reply to them! Thanx!
Hi Helina
Thanks for that PM sent.

Hello
It might be better if you look at the dealer forum and the feedback. Then check out the subforums for the watch your after and look on there. There will be plenty of info so you can narrow down your search.
Good luck
