GREAT COMPARISON!!! I agree with the AR coating... from the pictures you can really tell... the gen has almost no reflection... whereas on the reps the dial looks like a lighter black colour which I think is caused by the reflection...

OK guys... need some help in making a decision... I am thinking of changing my car or getting another one as a weekend fun driving car... if you know what I mean. I have 2 choices.... keep my legacy wagon for work and other rough use.... and buy a convertible or other coupe... looked at some e36 M3 convertibles, z4's, boxsters, e46 convertibles, lotus elise, and a few others... also like the ac cobra but this is very hard to find... you guys have any other suggestions? other choice would be to trade in my wagon and just get a 4wd... looking at the bmw x5... but then with this choice I don't have a fun weekend car... decisions...decisions... decisions...

not familiar with GMT pepsi reps... try doing some searching... I think someone asked this before... you might get flamed asking too many newbie questions... haha but its part of learning and being a newbie... lol

Just curious, looking at some of the deployment straps from BOB and saw some deployment clasps for sale on ebay... would it be ok to get a deployment strap and clasp for my 029 or would it make it less accurate? Also... If I went for just a normal leather strap, is the buckle that came with the EL 029 correct like the gen? Or does it need changing?

yes... looking at getting a new strap, or two... talking to hktan about this at the moment. I also want to get some better quality screws... anyone know where to get them? What about the buckle on this model? Is it close to the gen? Or should I get a new buckle?
