  1. dont think there are reps with the correct blue for the pepsi GMT...maybe you can get a TW best and change original bezel insert.
  2. any comments? not enough pictures to really tell, but looks ok... caseback seems a bit off... not sure about the clasp... dial looks ok... hands look like a nice length... experts comments???
  3. I have asked for more pics... esp of the back because the seller says that System Glashutte is printed on the back... on the dial is Tachville...
  4. andrews is still more accurate... helium valve position and the red line around the triangle on the bezel.
  5. hmm...looking at it again... the writing seems to read something like Lashville... it was advertised as glashutte though....
  6. Came across this antique glashutte for sale... any idea what it would be worth? is it a gen?
  7. impressive!!! haha... I have seen the pic of the finished product on the other forum...but had no idea how it got into that shape.... now i see the whole picture...
  8. put me down for one then!!! even though i don't have a watch to put it on... but it will give me motivation to get a watch... would it be mineral crystal? or sapphire? or plastic?
  9. Both look GREAT! However, looks like the gen has a more smooth dome... or is it the angle of the photo?

  12. Great Post!!! I agree that a warning should be posted for modem users though... I am on broadband and it took me a while to load all the pics... Just wondering... with all these replica straps... the buckles don't have the Panerai logo and wording? i see some of your pics have straps with the logo and wording...

  18. what a beauty... I know who to contact when I get a mbw/wm sd to get the mods done... will have to start working harder... too many watches on the list.
  19. Thanks for all that... will get the loctite and fix the problem... I agree the bracelet is beautiful on the overseas... though still not very accurate... I also don't really like the clasp, but there is one version with the correct clasp but that model has a few other problems as well... I am surprised nobody has done mods on VC's... most of the mods are done on Rollies and Pannies...
  20. I wonder if TKK is registered on this board???
  21. it's allrite... we prefer u guys than the aucklanders... lol....
  22. Just got home from an hour session... part of the NZ poker champs...hold'em and omaha - pot limit... not the main event.... thats on Friday... competitions started on saturday and last for a week... did alrite today... contemplating if I should join on friday... quite a few ppl in town from around the world for the tournament... a lot of aussies...
  23. Ok.. not sure if anyone has this problem... but when I wear my Overseas for everyday use... I notice the screws on the bracelet slowly coming loose... if I wear it to a game of golf... there will be one screw out almost all the way... same thing when I put the watch in a watchwinder overnite... there will be 2 or 3 loose screws and at least one of them out almost all the way... Does anyone else experience this? Is it cos I am not screwing them in tight enough? Maybe the problem is my screwdriver? I don't have the exact size screw driver... it is slightly bigger...but does the job...it can screw the screw in untill it goes into the bracelet...then it is a bit too big to really tighten it... do you think thats the problem? or does anyone else on the board have the same problem?
  24. That's pretty cool!!! someone mentioned it before and I had no idea how it worked... now this is excellent! I am in NZ...which is pretty far south of the equator... so it works well then!!! SWEET! no need for a new watch.... Thanks TomBombadil...
  25. Hi... I am just looking for a watch with a compass... I know there are a few with a separate compass on the strap or on the side... but I am just wondering... is there a watch with compass in the dial itself?? Only one I can find so far is the Tissot T-touch... but I don't like the digital dial...
