  5. I swear I'm not the Dalai Lama!
  6. Hello all RWG, I took these pictures for a competition on RWI at the end of February (I'm a regular over there) but thought you may enjoy some of these on here. Today I'm putting up my favorite shots from ones I've taken of my little collection. Hope you enjoyed!
  7. Just thought I'd put these out there for the scam list: www.canwatches.com www.longineswatches.org I purchased from both of these sites pre RWG... recieved the wrong watch, and the lume dot fell out immediately upon opening the package from canwatches.com and they ceased all communication when I tried contacting them about it being the wrong watch, and about it losing the dot. The next site took forever to send the watch (though they did send the one pictured) however, the dial was sloppy in a couple of places (so much for QC). I consider myself lucky to even get the watch, and not get fraudulent charges on my card... Hopefully these can be added to a list of scammers! and hopefully it will save some people some trouble.
  8. Thanks for the warm welcome. I do have to laugh at the potatoe thing. I'm actually from Montana originally, so didn't hear too many spud jokes growing up... though my license plate now says "Famous Potatoes"... kinda interesting that a tuber can be 'famous'. LOL, anyway, looking forward to all the great info available here! (My next purchase will possibly be an orange Omega PO, as I really do love the looks of that watch (the non-chrono one)). Thanks again!
  9. Hey everyone, I ordered this Rolex Milgauss with green tinted sapphire from Stan about a month ago. Just thought I'd post some pictures of it here on the forum. I love the looks of this rep. My version is the 21j with sapphire glass. It does seem to have the "milguass movement" at times (where the hand jumps ahead occasionally). But it hasn't happened often. Overall I'm very pleased with the watch. It can be dressy, and it can a casual watch, that may be what I like most about it. I know mine's not perfect, especially in the movement, but I would recommend this watch on looks to anyone. It was definately a fun purchase! Hope you enjoy the pictures! Jesse
  10. Hey everyone, just thought I'd quit lurking around here and make my first post. I'm fairly new to the rep game and am grateful for all the information, time, and effort put into the website. My first purchase before the I knew of the forums left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I was worried about all the scams out there, etc. Anyhow, I've now got 5 rep rolexes and am looking into the Omega Seamaster now... I've learned that this hobby really does become addicting very quickly! Thank goodness my wife has let me indulge a little in it! I am currently a student in Idaho, where I'm told the 'frozen chosen' live, haha. I love music and am a newly wed, being married nine months 3 days ago. I'm from Montana, but frequently go to California as that's where my wife's from (the weather sure beats ours here in ID). Here is a video of one of my songs I wrote, and of course, a watch picture (one of my favorites I've taken). Enjoy, and nice to meet you all! My Rolex Milgauss GV from Stan (WBK)
