  1. I have a BK/WM9 YM and it is fantastic. I have been surfing, swimming in the pool, snorkeling, shower...the thing never leaves my wrist and it is rock solid. It is good for +10/12 seconds/week and looks fantastic. I have been to a few ADs looking at other watches and they noticed it and commented without even a second look. If you are lucky enough that BK has one left...dive on it!
  2. I recently had an issue with WM9/BK YM. The datewheel not snapping into the next date at midnight. It would hang inbetween dates. I sent it back to BK...and he not only replaced the entire movement, dial and hands (making sure the hour markers are aligned)...he let it run for 2 days testing it to make sure everything ran right. He sent me emails along the way to let me know how it was coming along and when he would ship it back. 5 days after he received it...I got an email saying its on its way back to me. All I can say is not only the watch a work of art...BK is a consummate professional. He stands behind his work, with great communication and its done right.
  3. I posted this on another thread, but I will reiterate here. I recently purchased one from Josh (with ETA movement). http://www.perfect-hour.com/rlgt00088-anni-black-asia-3186-serials-p-8039.html The finish of the gold plating is fantastic and looks very convincing. it is visually stunning....but more importantly...the movement is DEAD accurate. I set the watch via US atomic clock...and after 4 days...the watch is DEAD accurate. I mean it hasn't gained or lost a single second!! The GMT hand is set to London +5 and it moves around the face accurately. I thought the IHS had to be manually adjusted and wouldn't move around the watch like the CHS. I am very impressed with this watch. I get at least 3 compliments a day at work on this watch...it looks that good! Also...if the gold plating eventually wears off the braclet (most likely from wear and tear)...look online for a real 18K and stainless braclet and replace. I found one online for $600. it is a replacement braclet, but doesn't have the crown. Swap the safety clasp to the new one and you're all set.
  4. I recently purchased this GMT from Josh (with ETA option). http://www.perfect-hour.com/rlgt00088-anni-black-asia-3186-serials-p-8039.html I have to say...it is absolutely fantastic. It is a stunning rep visually, but more importantly....the movement is DEAD accurate. I set the time via the US atomic clock and after 4 days....it is DEAD on accurate. It hasn't even lost ONE SECOND!!! The time is set to EST (NY) and the GMT to London +5. The GMT hand moves around automatically without any manual adjustment and it is the IHS. I'm really amazed.
  5. I'm actually on my second clasp. The first clasp literally fell apart. The inside of the claps has little grooves in it which hold 2 small pieces of metal that slide up and down the clasp to adjust. I pulled it a bit too hard when I was trying to open the diver's extension and the whole thing popped out. I was able to get it back in place...but it was never the same. Very loose. Then I noticed that the clasp hinge itself is actually 3 pieces. The tooth grooved part is actually attached via a metal bar that holds the 2 metal sides and the adjustable center piece together. One side of mine popped out of the bar and I couldn't reattach. The result was both sides fell off and I was left with just the center, metal toothed part. I contacted Andrew and he sent me out a new one right away. This one seems to be much better...but be forewarned, don't pull the adjustment to the end and try and open the diver's extension...you run the risk of pulling the runners off each side of the clasp.
  6. This is my first post! I received a DSSD from Andrew @ Trusty time in mid December '09. How do I know which version I have? I do know it isn't the Rolex clone movement.
