I have one and my father has one. I have to say their "shock protection" is awesome. So far, after 5 years they are still running great. I used to wear mine riding ADV Motorcycling / Dirt bike, and it survived the vibrations and spills.
yes they wont full apart even after dropping it iv found and check out that thick backcase rubber seal! these are like wearing a submarine on your wrist!

I love my older amphibian (labeled Boctok). I found it N.O.S. in a thrift store, with original box and papers, apparently it was built in 1990.
Very dependable, I wear it snowboarding and it has survived many an impact and drop into snow banks.
It looks great on an original Bond nato, it just so happens to have some of all the colors in the watch. It is sized perfectly for my 7.5" wrists, although I am vehemently opposed to the current huge watch trend.
You have to hand it to them they sure love colourful and interesting dials there are tanks, jets submarines you name
super watch

Can someone measure the dial size on it, will a tudor dial definitely fit?
This dial is 26mm fits great!but most reps are 28mm or 29mm i think! the tudor dial should be 26mm too
this project was made using the case and movement from the 1680 redsub from puretime 198usd no work was done to the rehaunt
but the yuki insert wouldent fit over the crystal so the crystal had to be trimmed but not noticable!my older 5513 case was too big to hold the dial and needed a new rehaunt!

Nice vostok i have seen this reissue in person and it is well made and reliable i have a couple of vintage military vostoks and other (soviet) period
watches that i purchased from the ukraine !
Here are mine!
military vostok amphibian handwind from early 70s
Vostok komanderdirsk 1965-1980 (did i spell that right?)
the first russian automatic watch built
I have since clean and serviced these watches they are all unrestored and the original lum is still bright
even on the 1956 rodina none of these watches cost more than 75usd
sorry i dident mean to hijack your post! Great looking watch! Aero.
The watches are also very watertight and passed the rated depths easily!

No legitimate person tries to sell a $2000 watch with such bad photos. No dial shot!?
You are right and he is trying to explain his way out on the only feedback ( negative)there should be rules on ebay about selling items over a certain amount without feedback or previous track record

http://cgi.ebay.com/Omega-Seamaster-Planet-Ocean-/150564094773?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item230e51c335
It doesn't look gen at all to me, what do u think?
Im no expert but i would leave that alone! and i would never buy from a seller that has no feedback and is a new seller
And could take your money and cancel his account only to open in another name! scam? i wouldent want to be his first prey!
buying gens on the internet is risky so you have to do your home on the sellers background (previous sales good feedback ect)

while overhauling this

Iv been reshaping the crown guards tonight using the gen as patten not an easy thing to do iv found, looking much better but got to do something with that oversized crown! i will post photos as soon as i can! i also fitted the 1680 bracelet until i can find a folded bracelet!
Some more pics including reshaped cg,s still with (oversized) crown though!
]
This is a lume shot not as bright as modern sub reps !
Its the first time that i tried to reshape the GG.s but i hope its better still need a gen correct size crown!
not having much luck deleting some of the photos today so sorry for being overlong!

The endlinks on my so called(ultimate po 42mm) are the only thing that lets the watch down its bugged me enough that i have not worn it much since i got it and i dont see any 42mm po leather or rubber on any rep site rep accessories
was thinking of fitting a shark mesh but i wanted to keep the watch lookin as gen as possible
