  1. We get our normal paycheque from work and that's it...... we get no compensation from the courts or anything.
  2. I used to have the genuine piece, and both versions of the rep. The genuine one was stunning, with the high quality Maltese cross bracelet, and the Maltese cross bezel. It was the perfect balance of VC tradition and sportiness, with the Maltese cross motif being depicted throughout the entire watch, while you could do some intense sport activities with it (I played golf with it, swam with it, went light diving with it, went jogging with it, but at the same time wore it to formal events and the like). The replica versions of this watch with the diamond cut bracelet was also absolutely stunning, but the case size was lacking a bit, and the clasp was incorrect, but to be honest, I like the old VC Overseas clasp more than the current ones, since the current clasps don't feel very secure. But I sold the genuine one off in the end, because I decided it really wasn't what I was looking for. I just felt it copied the Royal Oak too much in terms of case design, and out of the whole luxury SS market, the Overseas was more a follower to the Royal Oak and the Nautilus, and I prefer watches that are more radical in deisgn, they are innovators, they are first in the field, hence that's why I'm a huge Royal Oak fan. Just my 2 cents for what its worth.
  3. I also hope that people here will appreciate my general knowledge of haute horlogerie brands more here than the Purists forums. I look forward to answering all of the questions on here about Breguet, Blancpain, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, JLC and the like.
  4. Just wanted to say hello to everyone here. I hope this site will be a lot better than the last one. I love this new forum, without the blasted "Merry Christmas" skin, which was starting to drive me nuts, and I even started to hate christmas for that!!!! And I will join the RWG SUpporters group soon, just my pp account is being ****ed around with again.
  5. That's the thing, this case could be considered high-profile, but in Canada, the jury has to remain quiet after the trial or you are charged with a criminal offence apparently. I know in the US the media can interview the jurors and such, but in Canada, it's illegal and strictly forbidden. I was also told to expect it to take at least 2 months. Oh boy.
  6. Oh crap.......... I got selected today as a juror for a first-degree murder trial. I was told that it was very common to take more than 2 months in Canada for this to finish up. Who else here has had to suffer through jury duty (wherever you live)?
