you cannot do it by yourself. first , you need the right granulate and the right glass ceramic bead. and you need the right experience. in the dental technic, they use the right blasting machine. but you need another bead material. and another very important point is..., you may not blasting few ranges on the pam case. my goldsmith in my local pvd company, who makes the blasting, knows exactly what is to do. it's always better to use an expert. otherwise it will be a bad job and dilettantism. rolli

rep hands of a asia7750b1 movement fit on a gen 7754 gmt ( based on 7750 ). davidsen and the other gmt maker use the 7750b1 for their gmt models. the hand gears/posts have the same measures. only the new designed asia7750 with 28.800bph have different measures for the hand gears / posts. for the new 229 or 104 case you can swap 1.1 the gen 7754. if you want to use the standard gmt case, then you have to use the 7750b1 main-[censored] for the gen 7754. because the inside measure of the standard gmt case is deeper. rolli

at the moment i start the pam088 gmt project with parts from davidsen, pam088 and pam229 standard case in connection with a gen valjoux 7754 gmt movement. rolli

honorably all your positive or critical points for davidsen's new achievements, don't forget the small second, this hand is much too short. rolli

all davidsen dials for 44mm pams have to be narrowed in diameter for the standard rep cases. ( 0,3 - 0,4mm ) some dials for the 47mm standard cases are ok. rolli

the surface treatment is very important before it gets the pvd coating. two steps with bead blasting, first with mixed high end granulate blasting and the second step, mixed glass / ceramic bead blasting. made from a goldsmith in the pvd company. she knows very exactly which parts on the surface have to get the blasting and which not. then ample cleaning and not forgetting, they have manufactured for me the holder system for our watch parts for the pvd machine cell ( chamber ). in other pvd companies for tools and industry products they have no experiences with watch parts. in our local pvd company they have a special watch department and many experiences with watch and jewellery pvd coatings with high quality. rolli
