  1. hi m, the vintage database gives you many inspirations and new ideas for the vintage work. but you have to study the details and this several times before you get a trained eye. normally to copy a authenticity is not so easy. you need a very good taste for " less is more " rolli
  2. hi victoria, it's only possible with a personal challenge and taste to the details. but to hit another taste is very very hard. rolli
  3. the little second auto reset is an old patent from A.Lange&Soehne. this conception in connection with other movement layouts was already multiple problematical. rolli
  4. hi kruzer, the 233 has a general familar problem. the second auto reset when you pull out the crown makes sometimes problems and the watch stops. i know it from the german watchlounge forum, and i know it from a friend, he has a 233. most of the 233 owners live with it. and this problem is known by panerai too. rolli
  5. vintage time. pam2533 with simona vintage strap. rolli
  6. amazing, did ziggy this with a lume hand machine ?? this too perfect. rolli

  8. i think i will create more 3646 dials with different letterings and in different aging styles together with hands. and parallel the next 3646 cases. new plexi is another step. for the california dial my plan is, the manufacturing of a new sandwich dial through a local dial factory, the upper dial must have a maximal thickness of 0,2 - 0,3mm. the marker an numerals will be cut out with laser technology, then black paint, and the rest is print work. the lower dial gets the super lume with vintage aging color. rolli
  9. pam2533 vintage with simona vintage strap. see also this topic. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=65907 enjoy rolli
  10. here is the pam 2533 vintage - an italian temptation, basic vintage pam with rolex dial from andrew. dial and hands from davidsen - reworked in aged style by me. new brevet crown + tube from davidsen - reworked and also the crown-shape reworked by my watchmaker. new 2,0mm lug wires formed by my watchmaker and fixed with laser-welding-technology by a local company. between the lugs are new thick springbars. -- the basic model has 1,8mm lug wires, 2,0mm is much better for the overall picture -- after finishing the case reworked in aged style and polished again. strap:
  11. two another 3646 dials with aging treatment. hands are in test phase. rolli

  15. what i see, thats a big ignorance and many talks for nothing. for the rising prices has to be only one result, a nearly perfect rep. what panerai can do, the makers can do the same, they have all technical possiblities. but they don't use them. why not ??? is that inability ??? or ???? rolli
  16. we all wait and will see. i had too many talks, it's too tiresome. rolli
  17. all my pams are waterproof. tested with a vacuum and pressure machine, 1. test 0,8 bar vacuum and 2. test 20 bar pressure. rolli
  18. i say, the maker don't produce a correct pam. too much efforts for nothing. rolli
  19. it makes no sense to talk about the flaws. the collectors, dealers and makers know everthing. they use a new color but the rest is wrong. and it's very simple to make a correct dial. for me it's a pi**-take, let us talk about useful things and not about musings. the avid members buy either way. rolli
  20. it's not sad, you have to be a hardcore pam user with the right attitude, otherwise It's no use. rolli !!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. is this a thread about the pam164 or what's the theme ??????? rolli
  22. did someone ask about the lume quality ???? rolli
