hi willith, i use always for the black / dark anthracite coating a polished pam case and you get a perfect blasting with glass / ceramic bead, or with mixed granulate / glass / ceramic bead. i've made this decision with the polished case, it's better for the quality of the blasting surface and after the pvd coating is perfect. if you used a brushed pam case, maybe the blasting surface has an other effect. for the pam slob aged bronze pvd, i use a titanium satined pam case. the blasting will be done only with mixed granulate. and after aged bronze coating, the color will be very dark aged bronze. you have to know, you can get the pvd coating without the bead blasting. the pvd color surface is like the basis surface of the watch part. polished, brushed, satined, or bead blasting look. roll

here is the possibility to give your pam a new look. the magic word means - pvd coating ( physical vapour deposition ) many gen pre-a and pre-vendome pam models have this coating, but the most of you know it. you can get: a.) pvd coating in dark anthracite with mixed granulate / glass / ceramic bead blasting. b.) pvd coating in aged bronze with mixed granulate bead blasting. this pam slob coating is pvd aged bronze. pvd is not only black or dark anthracite. pvd ( physical vapour deposition ) is a vacuum based coating procedure in connection with special gas and special material plates ( targets ) in a special pvd machine. -- zirkon carbo-nitrid ( ZrCN ) = color aged bronze -- -- titan aluminium carbo-nitrid ( TiAlCN ) = color dark anthracite -- with this pvd technology in connection with different materials and gas specifications you get many colors for coatings. rolli

hi dadog, yes it's made with love and enthusiasm. this aged bronze pvd coating is a special pvd design coating with a special blasting, for this you need a special pvd machine from hauzer ( netherland ) davidsen cannot make this coating. two companies in swizzerland and germany can make this coating. and one of this company is in the near of my location. so, let me know who wants this pvd coating or other pvd coating. pm is always welcome. rolli
