Hi All Don't know if anyone here is interested in Doxa but I've just finished transplanting a genuine movement (Circ 1910) and dial / hands etc into a replica body not an easy task as the movement was even larger than a 6497 !! (Was a pocket watch movement) The watch now measures 50mm without the crown, i then put it on a TC Dirk strap to finish the job, very pleased with the result. Just something a bit different and one of a kind !!!! Regards Richard

Hi All Since I took the above photos I have tapped down the screw heads on the bezel and tightened the screws on the back as the screws do go straight through the watch. Problem solved !!! Also tested the movement on my timing machine and it's gaining +2 to 3 sec per day Best Regards Richard

Hi All Here as promised my new seconds at 12.00 Asian 7750 next to my MBW Swiss seconds at 9.00 (Note the Swiss is over double the cost of the Asian). The MBW does have a better "Feel" if you know what I mean!!! Regards Richard

Hi Sql Yes I have the MBW AP ROO with the Swiss 7750 sec @ 9.00 as well. The MBW has a slighly better finish smoother edges and general better "feel" but it's twice the price of the new sec @ 12.00 model!!! Will try to post a side by side pic tonight Regards Richard

Hi Ubi, This watch is the first i've received where I had to remove 3 links to fit my wrist is 8.25in (I'm 6'5" tall) I have no problem wearing large watches, the only problem is reverting back to a 40mm which now feels too small. Regards Richard

Hi All Well I received my white dial with grey sub dials this morning I am extreamly pleased with this watch, running well, chrono working correctly, all resets to 12.00. Quality is very good and the minor differences are not really that noticable. In reality the date is a little to the right, the crown is about 2mm to high and the center of the hour hand diameter is a little large, but to be honest overall a very good watch and unless side by side with an original not really noticable. I can live with these issues and save $20,000 Regards Richard

This watch is excellent value for money and the build quality is exceptional (Notice how the watch is "Bolted together" similar to the AP).
