and we worry we will get called out
If you think Breitling is tough to spot, literally nobody has heard of PANERAI

I wouldn't say that a Seiko 5 is a "high end" watch. So, in my humble opinion, it cannot be the "cheapest high end watch". If I'd have to make a choice, I would grant this award to Pequignet Manufacture Rue Royale :
Paul
I'm liking that very much
never seen or heard of that before.

Just realized, the Watch Snob would be creaming his pants at your purchase
he loves the old AL&S

I was in college ... what do you think ....
Been there, done that. Three in a row, actually, stupid broads still contact me years later ;p
-
Again, ANYONE can already do this, and has been able to for years.
I had a woman who pulled up next to me in a car at a stoplight on campus one day and said 'nice car!'. We chatted briefly, not exchanging more than a first name. Two days later she called me. Said she got my name from the DMV via my license plate number and called information for my phone number .... in 1985.
Sure, the internet, cheap computing power, open records laws and a huge demand for consumer information has made this easier, but it's being going on for a long time and hasn't been that hard for the common man to get access to personal information.
What the fk?! What a stalker!

Brown would go better with the gold, i reckon the original strap would look best

I was referring to the Pantera. Other chariots in Australia like an MY03 Porsche Turbo is as much as $100K+
Saw a very neat '03 turbo convertible for just over 80k on Carsales the other day

Run as fast as you can...
Also, don't worry about eBay with not paying. As a buyer, he can't leave negative feedback. Open a dispute thing and say you no longer want to purchase the item, which you have every right to do for no reason whatsoever.
Next, he'll complain. You email him and blackmail him, say you will email eBay the email he sent you about paying in cash (which is not allowed) unless he agrees to cancel the transaction.
UK law has no bearing whatsoever on an eBay transaction. Unless the watch is not a watch but a spare kidney
You are totally in the clear mate, don't stress, walk away, there are millions more watches to spend money on

On a humorous note, I ran home a couple of weeks ago from a meet-up with a Risti to pick up my new JV strap which caused me to start this thread. I went to put it on and finally noticed.....it was an XL - too big for me. He accurately advertised it. I just didn't notice. So now the challenge starts. Find a person who wants to trade a regular for an XL. This could take a while.
XL ey? Do you have a figure in mind?

I do not doubt for a second that this is almost exactly how it works...
More and more, I genuinely question the true value of Swiss watches. As if they don't make enough on the initial sale, they try to stooge their customers in the after-sales as well? It's the height of hypocrisy when they [censored] and complain about reps.
Watch histories are a bunch of marketing spin, in the end it is and always has been about the bottom dollar.

I'm a big fan of LW. Own 2 of their watches myself (The One and Oktopus DLC). Love the unique case shape and how well it sits on the wrist.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
The 3-timer is where it's at. The OP posted pic, not so much.
I like that they made those little computers that can attach to the watch, that's a very innovative idea for a watch.
The Oktopus is a great design. They have superb craftsmanship, but the comments are basically identifying an important point - they are a touch overpriced for what they are.
Still, could do far worse, like the Devon TREAD1
what a [censored] monstrosity

Ha ha, Keep your kidney man, just work harder and make a few dollars more.
Here is my watch on a Bob strap I bought from eBay.
The reflection on the crystal makes it extremely hard to photograph.
Also because of the brown strap color, it kinda looks like a 351
What's the strap called? Is it soft and does it bend easily? Looks nice
my version of "Assolutamente" I called it "Semplicemente"
