F, that is amazing
I wish you all the best of health and luck on such a momentous trip, and do indeed look forward to the summit wristie

The previous posters are absolutely correct. Any booze issues are more than made up for by the astoundly gorgeous women...

@subbiesrock thanks for all the info and for adding yet another watch to my wish list.. always appreciated
It's funny because I was thinking of getting a 312 and a fiddy but now I can have both in one!
Exactly! I was looking at a 1950 as well, but this serves both purposes. I think the 47mm 1950 case is a little too big anyway.
I was thinking, aside from the CG lever, there is not much to distinguish the rep from the gen (have a look at Wheaton26's 312/328 rep/gen pictorial comparison). I would suggest the only upgrade is the movement, and that just means getting a gen

Something we whipped up last weekend:
Focaccia, with tomato paste, oregano, two varieties of sun-dried tomatoes, kalamata olives and Bulgarian fetta cheese. A little pre-dinner snack

Great, thanks a lot subbiesrock... now I'm even more confused.. now I totally want a 328!
Is that the latest one? the Best Edition V2?
Did you get anything done to it?
The 312 and 328 are basically identical, except one comes on a strap and the other one a bracelet. PeteM informs us that the Millesimation number is also different on these models, but that's just a different serial number on the case back.
The mini-Fiddy case design is simply beautiful. I have an older modded 111 on a bracelet (tested to 5ATM and reserved for water activities), but the 328 is my daily wearer. I have 3 straps that I rotate (Maratac 5-ring Zulu, Orloff Black Croc and vintage baseball strap) and wear it every day. I've owned quite a few reps and this one is my favorite. Bear in mind that the case is quite tall and sits above the wrist, which may not be to everyone's tastes. The 111 case style fits the curves of the wrist a little better, but more importantly is a few mm thinner, so it's a more comfortable wear,
No mods yet to the 328, thinking of getting it serviced/calibrated, and perhaps having the CG lever ground down to resemble the gen. Other than that, factory Lume is crazy bright, keeps great time, and there is no need for mods aside from the lever.

Blasphemer !!
Have you learnt nothing of the code.... clearly not.....
A pox upon yee...
Hahaha the code! SORRY!
For my transgressions, my punishment shall be death by suffocation in the ample bosoms of a virgin...

How can you resist the Mini-Fiddy goodness...
...yummy!

Dont trust him.... he is mad I tell you.... mad....
Hey, at least I don't tan my straps by rubbing them between the asscheeks of virgins...

Is the last one Castel St Angelo in Roma, looking towards Vatican City?
This is a view from the opposite side, from the game. I think that Ubisoft did an amazing job on this game...
-
Is that HDR ?
It looks like HDR.
Fed, is the second photo of Romagna? It looks like a scene from Forli, straight out of Assassin's Creed 2

I am in a similar situation as I want to have both but can only buy one at the moment.
I'm leaning toward the 312 actually 328 with the metal band and will get the 111 at a later time.
You can't go wrong either way as both are nice watches. You just have to decide which you want first.
I have both a Luminor case (111) and a mini-fiddy Luminor style case (328), and trust me: as soon as you get the 328 on your wrist, you will never yearn for another watch :
I have some breitlings I keep for special occasions, but after the 328 i am totally a one-watch guy
-
I wish... I'd buy one and post a pic to the Watch Snob of AskMen infamy, just to [censored] him off.
He seems to have a real hard-on for this watch

Fukn ridiculous.
Pete....
hahahaha Please tell me you dug that info up somewhere and didn't actually count them one by one.
Seriously Pete... Did you?

After a short sit down and some correct parts and attention, the watch passed a 10 ATM test? NICE! I go back to my earlier point. The designs of these divers are such that they don't let water in. Simple as that. A little bit of work and it did 10 ATM without a sweat. Excellent news

That's not a bad idea

Where's this gallery?
I reckon a few RWG fans might get over there with a pocket knife and peel a few of those babies off

I'm a firm believer in sex before marriage. At least check out the goods beforehand, what was this guy thinking! (hahaha) dorsn't he know the amazing surgeries being done in places like Bangkok... Or, maybe he knows, and he kinda likes to 'bangkok' himself?

Wow is that the ultra rare Yamaha speaker model RWG-111?
Lol! Maybe Yamaha HS-50m Active Studio Monitor?

A much better (and wearable) alternative is a 5-ring Maratec Zulu 24 mm. The Velcro is quite uncomfortable for daily wear.
Here it is, modeled on a 312

Pete, the Chuck Norris meme came about some years ago and just exploded on the Internet. People are constantly making new ones up, the more ridiculous the better.
-
I've never heard of them in Aus but they're very strongly advertised in Western Europe, where I've seen the brand splattered on huge billboards. They're well constructed, not dissimilar to say a Seiko or Citizen, which are both excellent value for money as far as quartz beaters.
I think half price is fair, 250 is a little much, but what's 50 bucks between friends...
-
Not your fault Pete..could have happened to anyone of us...on both sides.
Mike
Agreed. But I made a similar argument about the PAMs being of such a design that even the reps should be inherently waterproof, if all the gaskets and o-rings are installed correctly and the CB tightened. Repping a watch with a 4000m WR, I would expect they can easily achieve 1/20th with a basically similar design. Remember that an OTB Seiko or Citizen with a non screw-down crown and push-fit case back is good for swimming, showering, and all kinds of watersports (i haven't managed to kill one yet, and believe me, I've tried! :op), so the PAM Luminor cases and these specially designed diving cases should be inherently waterproof, IMO.
Seeing that glass get fogged up like that really makes me wonder what kind of opium they're smoking at the factories

I wonder why you'd need a compass? If you start at the foot of a mountain, and you want to climb it, I assumed you'd just keep heading towards the higher bit?
Sorry F, it had to be said
good luck, and keep us availed of your equipment and plans ![:)](https://rwg.cc/datastore/emoticons/emoticons/default_smile.png)
