  1. couldn't it just be the case that george comes back to business or that he sold his templates ?
  2. but as i understood sean the case set for the 16610 will ONLY take 3135 movement ?
  3. strange, why is bk than using noob dial on the tw best ?;-) btw, never had this problem and i own a few supreme and wm9
  4. whats so different now to the other projects ? and why should a noob dial a bit too small ? Did you received the inner case diameter already ?
  5. seeing those new pictures i wouldn´t be suprised when the sn would be M550718
  6. Don´t got the point for your reaction guys. He was just asking, if you don´t want to reply then you shouldn´t......I guess this is question how everybody just started....relax What is more from interest for is the topice it self. You are talking of two different watches. 16610 is the Stainless Steel Submariner and 116610 is the latest modern Submariner with a cerachrome bezel insert. They both belong to the submariner family but they do look different. LN stands for Lunette Noire, which means it is a black colored bezel insert, the abbreviation LN is for both models. This is interesting when it comes to the 16610 or 116610 LV which is the lunette verde, means it´s a green colored insert. I don´t get the meaning of you topic. Do you want to compare those two watches ? Or do you just look for the closest to the gen modern submariner replica ? Out of the box there is none that can´t be called out by an expert or at least rolex familiar guy. If you look aroud a bit you will see different models or make like noobfactory, MBW/MBK, WM9, TW Best....etc. It is always a question on how you would like to spent and how important are some details to you. If you have enough funds you can go for a watch that is build up with a lot of genuine parts, what some guys here call "franken" from Frankenstein, you know the guy with the screws in the head If you really want to do that then I would suggest to buy a 16610 case from phong for 1290$, but this is just a case....no ? Ok, if you buy builds like these it might be the same amount of money you get a preowned genuine 16610 bklm123 is a modder and seller that was selling the famous wm9 watches and modded to a very good level of accuracy but unfortunately the wm9 factory is not existing anymore and so the watches are rare. sometimes they are sold on some foras totally overpriced ;-) but you can be lucky to get one. If you are not familiar yourself with the models , sneak a bit around in the rolex section and start reading, as i said before all guys started like this and no one is a born expert, but i guess as all the time the newjoiner asking the same questions the guys are annoyed..... pm me if i can help
  7. Hi, was wondering if there are different models of 703 crowns ? Could it be that 703 crowns for vintage look different than for modern ? this is my gen 16610 cron (modern) this is the gen crown on my wm9 v3 lv and this is a gen crown i have since a few months they all look the same. But now i have received two crowns that are declared to be gen. the first one I was really irritated and was close to open a dispute as i thought the 3 dots are an indicator to be wrong. but today i received another crown and it looks the same way now my question, is there a difference in vintage and modern 703 crowns ?
  8. cal. 1570 hands have diameter specs of 80/125
  9. checked every single date with my gen. it is correct, but have you noticed that the 8 and the 18 have a different 8 as the 28 ? maybe it´s just an optical illusion...but it´s the same on the gen dw
  10. and to my knowledge the 3135 hands cannot be fitted to an eta or clone eta
  11. alright guys, yes, it is a gen V -series
  12. how could this be a v2 with engraved rehaut ?
  13. and how do you like mine ?
  14. That´s a different bezel construction as a gen has. a gen has one click spring afaik.
  15. Gen Pro-Hunter are not PVD coated they are DLC coated. If you coat something with DLC. It could be that the item will not fit anymore because of the coating. DLC coating is a process that can be done by some company and usually they do it on a regular basis with many parts together, the more parts you got from different people the cheaper it will be for one. Here in Germany I know one company that offers DLC coating every 3 months on a share of 200€. An AD in Germany takes 500€ for DLC case coating but I don´t have a clue if it would be cheaper if it is only the crown.
  16. I have a gen 16610 V series and it has 93250 without engravings on the bracelet only on the clasp. my Bklm wm9 v3 LV Z-Series comes with a non engraved 93250 bracelet as well. this could help ?
  17. nothing wrong with it, only thing is that i don't want to wait till bk can sell one. last info was that he is not able to deliver since he had problems with the dials. so i am looking for the watch it self and not preminilary for the bk modded one. i asked hont few weeks ago but he was telling me that he can' t deliver since he is out of stock. if you have a source for me where i can get a tw best i would be happy.
  18. so anyone can give me a hint which dealer to contact for an mbw16610?
  19. i know that just want to know whether maybe the dials have been produced
  20. would not buy the inserts from watchmaterial since the inserts i recieved have all a wrong pearl position. the pearl is totally covering the small end of the triangle. that is what i have experienced and another mate of me
