  1. correct. maybe only if you had it serviced and they replaced the xtal.
  2. stay away from it for that money. The midcase is a rep, the xtal is suspicious and the insert who knows and who cares
  3. hopefully better than the v2...these are really not that good
  4. agree that the price are unreasonable high but as long as someone is willing to pay top dollar for it.......as i sold my wm9 v3LV i was directly posting that is overrated and too expensive....still it was gone in a few minutes. When I look at some sales threads over 1k for "superfranken" (what a word...) with gen parts than you might say with a reasonable price breakdown it is fair. But my opinion is still that the price follows the demand. Have you noticed that 1 year ago everybody most people were happy with a noob ? suddenly someone starts selling modded noobs at high prices but still bks wm9 were still the top sub reps and more and more people started buying gen parts. in my eyes the demand for truly replications is increasing and therefore the price as well. take it or leave it or wait 1 year and the hype for the 16610 will be gone (for the major part of forum members) as fast it has arisen. The market will regulate it self. the more TC subs were on the market the less TW will be sold (there are only a few geeks like me that want to have every version) and (not in one year) the prices will decrease because there are so many highly modded watches on the market and it want be rare anymore. as long as everybody is willing to pay top money nothing will change....we do influence the price with our buying behaviour
  5. The LV mark I is the only 16610T with flat 4 afaik. 16610 cases for 16610LN with flat 4 have lugholes. If you do not agree I would be happy if you could post a pic where you have seen a 16610T with flat 4 and SL dial which is not a LV. Then I would be convinced
  6. +1 and it´s not all about what others think, as soon as I know a detail it bugs me
  7. the insert is a 16800 which is not supposed to be on a 16610T case. The springbars are for lugholes case, you cannot use them on a 16610T case.
  8. v series is with rehaut engraving irolexyou. starting late z series.
  9. Pretty nice but how about the price breakdown..... Guess for that money you are close to a preowned gen. You spent around 3000?
  10. depends, sometimes you pay for a 16800 less than 100 or for a 16610 more than 250 when it is rfid sealed. the latest i bought was rfid sealed and i payed 250euro
  11. 1675 is missing (currently at RA), Sean 16610 at bk.
  12. what the heck are you guys doing....
  13. The new Rep is missing the bluish AR now? Is that something Uwe can fix ?
  14. Congratz to your new gen. Honestly speaking does not take 2 sec to spot the rep. The lugsize and CG are the obvious tell without looking closer on the wrong indices rims and wrong hands. Not talking about the pearl and ar on cyclop and wrong Color of the insert engraving. I guess sneed mentioned to own a rep case that have the correct lugsize and cgs. I personaly Never Seen a 116610 rep Case that is correct and have the finish and sharpness any close to a gen. So long i Stick to the 16610 until i find a correct 116610 rep case until i find a correct case. Maybe i oversaw it im Open for any reliable tipps
  15. You can Hope that the pawn Shop owner is Not a member if the board
  16. if its a gen case from somewhere 1998 - 2000, dial should be then a SWISS only dial but not correct with open 6 and 9 dw with a 3135mvt.
  17. This is as incorrect replicated as it could be
  18. Pitty is i had one few years ago.....but Now i want to Build an early 16610 based on sean so Gen dial will fit. Inspirated by that arkon Guy looking for a 16610 Comex wish i will prepare the Comex decals and therefore i prefer using a repdial instead of a gen tritium.
