Isn't the newest model Daytona fully White Gold, rather than SS? The main AD in my area has their newest Daytona model @ £14,000, which can't be the price for a SS model!

I intended to continue contributing, but didn't see the point.. If one of the reasons this site operates is to protect us from scammers, why run the risk with the google adwords?.. Half of those sites when you click on the link are Grade1 A++ scam sites, effectively getting advertised at the top of the forum. I thought that this forum was run by contributions and / or a WIS admin? If that's the case, what's the need for the google adwords (apart from making extra $$)? I know some people will take umbrage to this post, so I would say sorry in advance, should anyone complain.. The Adwords are not serving any purpose at all as far as linking to the types of sites we get warned about here.

It's quite possible that it's not shills, but other guys trying to stop PS3's being sold on ebay. Reminds me of the time when ebay used to allow football tickets sales (soccer for you guys over the pond).. Many fans angry at touts buying Champions League tickets and immediately putting them on ebay at vastly inflated prices used to go out of their way to have the auctions ruined by bidding 100,000,000 for the tickets.. Anyone selling them had the teams fans destroying their chances of selling on ebay.co.uk.. Eventually I think ebay just stopped allowing tickets for champions league matches...

How do you know shipping activity has slowed down? What have you to compare it against?... If you've ordered from them before, why do it again?

Since almost everyone has posted their thoughts.. here are mine. Firstly, I don't have any problem with the pics. However, after reading the strength of opinions, it would seem that that this type of material has it's place, and - given the feedback - that place is not on a watch forum, or more specifically, this particular watch forum. There are many avatars and sigs with female figures in them. Is is necessary?.. Probably not!.. I do enjoy most of them though.. but some people don't. And if it's putting people off visiting or participating then that's not a good thing for the overall community. Perhaps there are a few options to resolve this :- 1. Stop using them 2. Have a democratic forum vote as to whether they should be allowed 3. Continue as normal, and anyone who doesn't like them can remove the option in their profile, or stop visiting.. I have to say though, that although I'm in favour of keeping them, so long as they don't go overboard (some of them are borderline!).. BUT!! - The fact that people are being put off visiting, or have to disable all sigs just to block one or two sigs can't be a good thing. That's my 2 Euros!

All you actually need to claim a "VERO" is access to a fax machine. As Ebay don't verify rights owners are infact the real rights owner, anyone with a fax machine and ability to lie can have any auction they like cancelled. An example of this was a few years back when one watch seller (yes, the biggest VERO scam was carried out in our own field). He / She claimed VERO on anyone selling CASIO watches, and had all their auctions cancelled... What proof did ebay have this person was infact casio?.. That would be their email address.. casio_inc@hotmail.com That caused a lot of sellers a lot of grief, not to mention lost sales. The fact of the matter is that VERO is a crap system, ripe for abuse by sellers against their competition.

Who will pay the staff's wages?.. Ebay? Why should companies have to employ people (and incur extra costs) to police ebay?

err.. No, I didn't enjoy that. Why on earth would I want a Scottish team to lose to anyone overseas? I think you have been amongst the reprobates in "the jungle" too long, and enjoy that sort of schadenfreude. I want all Scottish teams to win in Europe (Yes, even Hearts!), and failing that, the English teams to win in Europe. The fact is that Celtic got hammered, just as they themselves hammered Benfica a few weeks ago.
