Just got myself a mahlkonig Guatemala for drip to complement my compak k10. Now I have more invested in grinders than espresso machine.

Why would you want such a thing? The genuine SS Diver does not have a display caseback. But if you must have it, the best way would be to purchase the parts from the ceramic diver.

AR + [censored] crystal quality is REALLY noticeable when compared to gen. I will be sending mine for double AR probably.

I also noticed that the V3 diver end gap between strap and case is not as bad when you use the bumblebee leather strap.

So I've tried both of the recent FC Diver versions: H-fac, V3 As you know with reps, it's impossible to get perfect without using gen parts or some mods. This was built by Ryan and combined Noob V4.1 parts, H-fac parts and supposedly also some V3 parts. Ryan was GREAT and I got the watch within like 2-3 days from HK to USA. I am planning to mod it further with the help of rbj69 and I will let you guys see the progress. One of them is V3 and one of them is the hybrid Ryan's version. Included in the deal was a genuine AP bumblebee strap which I took off because it is too large for my wrist (cannot use it). Can you guys guess which version is v3 and which is the hybrid?

There's no mutual exclusive choice here Plus I drink coffee everyday and serve my family and friends. Priceless I say.

Just added a French press and hario pour over to the mix. I still prefer my 1500 dollar grinder + 2000 dollar espresso machine espresso though.

2013 was a good year. I got a gen patek, gen Rolex gmt2c and gen Rolex datejust. Got my lady a gen breguet watch as well. On the rep end I got a FC diver, diver 4.0 and a modded 111n v3 and an ap 14790. Here's to a better 2014. Planning to get into gen APs

Mac is the way to go. I have MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac Pro.

I own nespresso as well for convenience but the taste is definitely a huge step down from freshly ground coffee with a good brew method.

Does anyone still sell the noob version?

Haute horlogerie hublot aside, I think most of the ETA based gens are not really worth their money. I prefer to spend my hard earned money for watches which cannot be replicated well.
