  1. Never been called out. I had a student once (I'm a college professor) who came up to me one day and told me he was in a jewelry store a few days earlier and noticed that they had the same model AP that I happened to be wearing that day. I think he now believes my salary is a hell of a lot higher than it actually is
  2. Tried on a gen at a store today and really liked it. I get what By-Tor is saying about the aesthetic anomalies, but on my wrist it looked good. I can't wear really bit watches but the gen wore small. Perhaps the rep is a big thicker... I'm not normally a fan of Breitlings but will have to think carefully about this one. If the rep is as accurate as the review says it is (and there's not reason to think otherwise given the source) I might make this one my next purchase. BTW, retail was $8,898.
  3. Just received my white face Crazy Hours from Andrew yesterday.
  4. From trip to St. Petersburg last week. Just caught a newly married couple at the right moment.
  5. Ditto previous post. He's there and working. Unfortunately, one of the e-mails I received from Andrew was that he just received word from the factory that the PAM049 (40mm) I ordered is no longer being made and is unavailable. Anyone have luck from another dealer on getting one of these? I have small wrists and picking a good watch that won't make me look like I have a small laptop strapped to my arm is tough. I'm now trying to figure out what to get instead. Anyone have any suggestions that might fall into the same type of look as the 049( I wanted the white dial)? I love the look of PAMs but 44mm is on the outer edge for me. Are there 44mms that wear "smaller"? APs?
  6. Got it today and I am quite impressed. I have somewhat smallish wrists and I think a 43mm is about as big a case as I can pull off. Will post pics once I grade all my finals...
  7. Hey y'all- Having been an admirer/ogler/coveter of high-end watches for several years but not having the funds for said watches, I am very glad to have found RWG. Probably like other noobs, I almost pulled the trigger several times on other rep sites but never felt entirely comfortable doing so. It was very hard to do your due diligence so that, even though you were only spending a couple of hundred (maybe) for a rep, you could assure yourself that you were actually going to get what you paid for. After joining a couple of weeks ago and reading reviews, etc., I finally purchased my first rep from Andrew. I've always loved Nardins and so I ordered a Blue Surf. I'm still waiting on it, but I'll post pics once it arrives. Just want to say hey and give some love to RWG for being such a great resource.
  8. Looks like it's slowly disintegrating. About 10 years from now it will be skeletonized, though
