I have a Sony 20gb too. I generally hate Sony, but got a really good deal on it and love the battery life and sound. The software (SonicStage) sucks too, but I only use it once a week or so to move files to the player. Would have never bought it if they were still locked into that proprietary Atrac crap.

I don't think this is anything new. Wearing a watch while carrying a cell phone is certainly redundant. I went years without wearing a watch. But as time passes, you get older and yearn for the simpler days of your youth. You remember the way your father/grandfather always wore a certain watch, etc. There will always be some people who wear nice watches, just like there are still some (like me) who would rather write with a fountain pen than a Bic ballpoint, even though they're messy and leaky and expensive. We drive old cars, date classy women (not girls), drink fine liquors, smoke cigars because we enjoy them noit because they're cool. Someday our kids will thnk back to us and our watches and the cycle continues...

I did mine with a paperclip and needle nose pliers - cut about 3/8" of the straight piece of the clip, gripped it tightly in the pliers, pushed the pin out far enough to pull it with the pliers - then same in reverse to put it back together

Yep, I'm the same way. I've never bought a watch without the price being posted. I don't have the patience to wait 24 hours to find out how much. Also, if the rules were set when TTK and the dealers anted up, then it's certainly fair to enforce those rules. I don't think its too much to ask that pricing be transparent, in exchange for access to this buyer community (built around preventing people from getting scammed)

I like the way TTK does it sometimes... $XXX or $XXX + $75 for ETA Would definitely pay more for like 14k on TT Santos, etc A $250 TT Santos with ETA and 14k piece seems like a no brainer to me vs a $120 TT Santos with cheap movement and gold plating

c'mon now...I've watched some of you guys be very very generous with giving certain people the benefit of the doubt over the last few months, but if you buy this "excuse" now then you're just being suckers.
