  1. Hello redwatch Thanks for the answer. I just edited my message, don't want to make any kind of "advertising" at all I really don't know the "correct" procedure, this is why I posted this thread What moderator do you advise me to contact ? I know why you are doing this, be sure I have no problem with that, as I buy some high-values watches here too, and appreciate to do it in good conditions
  2. Hello RWG, This message is dedicated to the "admins", as I don't have any reply from Mr. Admin right now (pm'd him the 9th June) As I said in my pm, I have a [***surprise***] to sell I know there is alot of Rollie lovers here, so... RWG first ! and eBay in last resort ! I have about 7 or 8 buys and sells here... recently bought a 6263 v72 ( ) from SQL_pl is the last example... So, please contact me if you need more informations ! Thanks, Valty
  3. Hello there, I have a little problem... all my previous feedbacks has been removed for any reason I don't know. I think I was about to 3 or 4 positive feedbacks, and when Mickey Padge sent me a new one, boom, the others disappeared I have to sell a pricy watch, and... 1 feedback only is not so good Tell me if you have any idea... Thanks, Valty
  4. Can't believe it Damn cute anyways !
  5. Hi Admin, Is your datacenter offering a hardware DDoS protection ? Will be very useful in your case, even if it's expensive... In France, OVH does this. And it works very well ! Anyways, good luck, DoS is a plague... Valty
  6. I am curious to know the answer too I would say something like $1000-$1500, depending of the condition... Plus the price of the bridges if you want to "transform" it to a "Rolex" valjoux Complete project like the 6263 here would cost ~$2500 I think. SQL, correct me if I'm wrong
  7. My doubt was founded I agree with SQL, the incorrect spacing of the 7750 dial is really annoying, and only the v72/72X have this particular spacing Plus the fact that the 7750 dials for the 62XX are not so good, in my opinion. It's quite difficult to find a good 62XX rep dial with the 7750 spacing. So the v72 is the holy grail of the 62XX Daytona's Damn, now I want one
  8. I hope that's the question you asked... after seeing your posts number, I have a big doubt
  9. Simple : A7750 in case of failure (even if it's a strong movement) will be difficult to repair because of a lack of replacement pieces. Gen ETA 7750 will be easier to repair, there is a lot of replacement parts around the web. And there is the "swiss" magical feeling, too Except for this two (one ? ) points, the A7750 after a correct servicing will be very strong & fine... like the gen ETA !
  10. I just received my gen R-Box for the Submariner today... I waited it to take some photos I also received a gen Datejust 1601 from '67...! So the photos are coming very soon
  11. Amazing movement here You're a lucky man !
  12. Keep in mind that a gen ETA have replacement parts in case of movement problem... Asian movements does NOT have replacements parts... Are you seriously planning to open the watch with a "Rolexpert" buddy ? Go with gen ETA movement plus servicing Asian "decorated" movements not worthing the price cartel asking
  13. You have started a V72 project, right ? Joking, sure it is overpriced, it's the problem of being a fan of vintage Cosmographs
  14. Check this beauty : http://cgi.ebay.fr/NOS-ROLEX-VINTAGE-DAYTONA-6263-6265-PANDA-DIAL-ORIGINAL-/140519073197?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item20b796e5ad#ht_6332wt_1037 Pretty amazing dial...
  15. IMHO, if someone cares. On the left dial : - Crown is worse looking - The "ROLEX" inscriptions are too low - The "T SWISS T" is too high - The pearls placement is very good. Good vintage "yellow" - The subdials streaks are a way too visible. Cause of the flash ? - Result, the white marks on the subdials are not so clear as the gen is. On the right dial : - Crown seems good - "ROLEX" inscriptions are a little too low. Maybe the "Chronograph" inscription is a little low too. - "SWISS" ? Never see a 6239 without the "T SWISS T" - The pearls are... white. Need a little of vintage. - The subdials streaks are a way too visible too. Flash ? - The white marks on the subdials are clear, good. - I don't know if it's me, but the subdials seems to not have a "perfect circle". To me, the right dial is better, even if it's not a 6263. But I honestly prefer your current DW dial. Much better. Have you considered this ? : http://ndtradingcorp.com/zen/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=370 I honestly think a gen dial will be the better way in your case I ask myself a question: Is there any relief in the subdials because of the streaks, on this rep dials ? Gen seems to not have any relief at all... Anyways, this watch is a holy grail to me ! congrats ! My 2 cents (of Euros)
  16. Thank you very much for your comment preacher :-) I'm glad you confirmed what I think'd about this watch
  17. Surprisingly again, it seems to be a swiss ETA 2836-2 inside... I will post photos soon !
  18. Thanks for the reply Val Indeed, I was very lucky I think, so I wanted to share this
  19. Thanks for your evaluation Noel Yep, in my case, I was very lucky to have a good watch in the end. This is why I created this thread ! Currently, I know RWG, so I will not buy anything to this kind of dealer now NOTE: It's a 28,800 bph movement, the seconds hand run pretty smoothy !
  20. Nope, it's the men version. I hope
  21. Hello RWG A little history about this Daydate : before knowing this great place, I was looking for a "good" rep, just to see... So after searching for 1 month over the web, I finally decided to order a Chopard Mille Miglia GT XL on a website that inspired me confidence. For information, the website is "swiss - expert dot net". You will see later it's not an ad at all The watch was $150, the photos on the website weren't too bad, so I was not so afraid about a scam, it was just a test without any knowledge of the reps... After 2 weeks, surprisingly, the watch arrived in a well-made package. Unfortunately, the watch was a pure piece of crap, not the same as the photos. I will not wasting my time to show you this. Immediately, I have contacted them to ask "why this sh*t ?" (without any hope ). Surprisingly again, they accepted the return of the watch. So, I returned the watch to them in China. Obviously, my chance was limited, and a refund was impossible (). If you go to the website, you can see there is 2 kind of rep's : Japanese ( ) and Swiss grade. The Mille Miglia was a "Japanese". The only choice to me was : 1- Lost $200 (watch, box, papers, shipping, bla bla) 2- Order a "Swiss grade" watch from them (with a remove of $200), witch are absolutely overpriced I am player I decided to order this SS Datejust for (sic) $358 (witch is really $158 added). And the result is not so bad than I expected ! - The case is good - The dial is very good (to me) - IMO, the magnifier on the date is a 2X instead of a 2,5X. You will probably confirm or infirm me ! - The hands are good - The crown is good - The bracelet looks good, but obviously, no hollow links here. The engravements are good too. - The clasp is good - The date is correctly aligned - I don't know what to think about the date font, it looks good, but I don't know if it's the Rolex font used here. Please light me They said there is a "Swiss ETA" into this one. I think it's false, but I will check the next week. I will receive a Bergeon-like tool to open it and see. Anyways, the movement keeps good time (~+10sec / day), the auto-winding works fine, and the power reserve seems good. Also, the date changer is good, and the setting of the time feels firm and good. Hack working too. Now, the photos... I have just played a little with the RAW, no Photoshop-crazy-things here Sorry for the little dust traces ! And a better view for the date : Let me know what do you think about this one ! I will sell it soon, when the movement will be checked. As this watch comes from a "little scam" site, I obviously cannot sell it the same price I paid, so, can you tell me in your opinion how much it might worth ? I was thinking about $150-$200 instead of $358. Tell me what do you think about that Thanks for reading Valty
  22. Note that the flash clearly accentuate the shiny effect on the photos Can you post (or pm) the link to the sale ? I'm really curious to see the dial, and the positioning of the subs !
