  1. HELLLLLOOOOOO????????? anybody out there???? Am I the only one wanting this watch, the PAM194 is a stunner and I want the dealers to make it, please!!!! So now up with this thread and wave your hands if you want the 194 like I do! Theo
  2. @ watcher This is good news......in former times the AR coating technology was ok, I had an old Breitling Chronomat with inside and outside AR coat.....the outside looked terrible due to very tiny scratches (I had the coating removed then)......nowadays you can get it inside/outside with 100% satisfaction, it is extremly hard to scratch the outside coating that is applied (even harder to scratch cause the bezel of the 187 saves the sides of the crystal.....you will first hurt the bezel and loose some markers before you harm the coating)! The only thing I am VERY interested in is......have you had wacthsmith skills to remove bezel and crytal from your watch.....how easy/hard is it to to on yourself??? Will you need to have a pressing-machine to get the crystal fixed again???? How about a little tutorium???!!! Thanks for posting and beeing the FIRST to take the plunge,....wish you the best and looking forward to more pic´s when finished. Theo
  3. HELLO............PLEASE GIVE ME 3 X PAM194......THANK YOU...KLICK EERRHH......I AM A WATCHAHOLIC....KLICK MMMHHH.......JUST GIVE ME WHAT I NEED......KLICK AHHHH......GOT TO GO.......KLICK THEO....KLICK
  4. @ V and dadog13 ....guys, c´mon....you cannot wait....you want it......and we will be under the first to place an order I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, Nooooo I can´t!!!! Theo
  5. Thats an easy step....just calling the project off......but time will bring us the 194 soon, I bet! What makes it so easy for the manufactorers: - similar case than 187, leave out the chronopusher holes and the datepusher - similar bezel, just a bit of re-designing - dial will be easy, as I look on the wonderful clear and crisp 187 dial What will make it harder for the manufactorers: - get a good AR coat on the chrystal - develope the date-fonts and size and at least improve the cyclops - Titanium case, I am not sure if this is a no-go, but a brushed SS will make it for me The best part of the 194 will be the new Asia 7750B1 to be used; even more reliable when the chronofunction is left out!!! Again, I will buy 2 pieces if the quality equals the 187 and the price as well, would spend some more bucks if quality improves! Hope and pray for some day........Theo
  6. I just have to second dadog13´s words and of course stress them.....give me a 194 with equal quality like the 187 (good date and cyclops please!!!) and I will be definitely in! Jos & Andrew.........get it for me in good Quality.....will go for 2 pieces!!!! Theo
  7. Yes I saw the PAM202 cheapo SLY TECH version with the ugly case; too many flaws on that piece...... but modernise it, update it, file the case a bit...ready is a nice SLY TECH ChronoZilla...I wood also buy this model. Before the 194 will hit the market, the suppliers have to sell off their stock of the 187 first, thats OK if only someone will drop me a line and tell me:"....yes Theo, they will make it, it´s ready in their drawers and they will sell in the coming 3 weeks, pppssssstt, don´t tell anyone!" I love the rep-business, you wait and wait and wait for a new model, suddenly someone shows a diff. watch that catches your interest, you jump on the other train, let your raised funds go and.....hello, 2 days after the dealers come with the original piece you were looking for! Damn that happened too often, but I like it.....I must be ill, need help,....talk to you all soon.....have to ckeck the mail at home......some watches on the way to me......hurry.......bye Theo
  8. ALL, we now enjoyed the PAM187 ChronoZilla for quite a few weeks and we got used to the size and weight. Now the high-demand-time seems to slow down and the PAM-aholic in me starts to wacth out for the next models........ .....the CNC machines are ready for the 47mm case, the new Asia 7750b1 is stocked and a reliable movement, it will not take that much effort to do the PAM194 Sub 2500....even less critical is the PAM202 SLY TECH 1000m Chrono !!!! Who knows more, who will spread the positiv confirmation for the above, who will offer first??? I need to know this, cause my money is ready for them and if you do not make the watches, I will buy the B-Avenger UTC instead or the new Super-Avenger!! Just impatient (my normal state when it comes to rep-deals), Theo
  9. @ALL this web-site shows pictures of vintage Pannies that belong to 1 guy. He is the "PROFESSOR" of Panerai before Richemont, Vendome, Stallone. His shop is in Italy and he is a dealer for these vintage pieces. All pic´s were shot during a visit from another Italien Paneristi! BTW: the 2533 is a prototype, 1 of a kind....the "PROFESSOR" told me personal. Theo
  10. Kostas, you are correct; with my damn job I am sitting the whole day on my a** without moving too fast I just thought there is something I can do beside hand-winding my AUTOMATIC pieces. Best, Theo
  11. Hi Experts, I now own 3 watches with the asian 7750 movement. Only one of them keeps excellent time and has enough power reserve to cover the nights "on the table"! For the other 2 pieces the power reserve will not hold for 1 night if just worn on the wrist, I have to wind it to get over 1 day and 1 night. The rotor runs and slackers inside, I can hear and feel it, but just by wearing the watches it does not gain enough power.....! Is there anything I can do? Oil it? Fix the rotor? ?????? Any aadvice deeply appriciated. Thx for reading, Theo
  12. The Graham buckle is way nice,......but we have a nice PAM187 rep out and only got the slackery-rubber-dubber-thinny-skinny-rep-strap......the 2nd strap that normally comes with the gen 187 is the deployant one.....and this buckle is sooooo easy to rep, it´s just easier than doing the existing deployant we all know from the 44mm watches. Maybe there will be a AAA+ version of the 187 without the noticed flaws (with good AR coating, recessed subdials, screwed or soldered markers, He-engraved, a 7753..and of course a spare strap with that maiale on it!!!!!). Eddie......can you hear me??????? Theo
  13. All, has anyone of you well-informed watch enthusiasts an idea when our trusted dealers will come up with that wonderful thick & big deployant with the magiale stamped on it ????????? Any info or help appreciated, Theo
  14. ......just to second what BigNasty posted. Take care of the tiny things before you have to search them in your carpet. For those who are afraid to submerge the watch in hot water...just use a normal hairdryer, the hot air will also help to remove the glue a bit. I will reglue all my bezel markers as soon as my 187er will hit my doorsteps. Good luck, Theo
  15. Maybe I was too fast.....paid 2 hours ago @ ALL: hurry up, cause he is running short on these beauties! Theo
  16. There are several designs of the FIDDY. I have 6 watches with 4 diff. specifics. The chinese UNITAS version will work out from the backside. The generation 2-4 wih swiss UNITAS will only come out from the bezel/chrystal side (this is hard to fit again, cause you need a tool to put real good and precise pressure on the bezel/glass). So be careful, Theo
  17. Hi guys, I dropped him a line and hopefully he´ll answer soon. @Thor: .... is his XXX@mulberry.....co.uk correct? Theo
  18. Hi all, does anyone of you know who is offering this beautiful Panerai 8-watch box??? Found it on the german/UK Bay and the seller seems to be Homer or PT. It´s a REP box to fill up with lots of PANNY-REP´s..... ....any info is appreciated. Best wishes, Theo
  19. Many congrats Mark...and KUDOS for bringing the long wait to a happy ending! The watch is a real beauty and I am so jealous of it. Thx again for all your Info and I will accept your good advice....time will tell. Best wishes and wear it well, Theo
  20. There is only 1 reason to take the Asian 21J The asian versions are more accurate to the real deal in their outer appearance.....all those 7750 B1 versions I saw had too many flaws: - A-series style but with lumed indizees that sit on stainless steel dots -> WRONG - A-series style but with a brushed bezel -> WRONG - A-series style but with a rotating bezel for 1 minutes -> WRONG (has to be 5 minutes!) - ....the list can be continued. So I got all those Asian 21J models, they are worth the bucks and I love them. I rather pay 100$, use the watch careless and when it breaks....who the [censored] cares ´bout. For 300$ it would be another game, I´d be very carefull with that piece...but I don´t want to, it´s a rep after all! Just my 0.02$ Theo
  21. UPDATE: Took the watch to my local watchmaker. He will fix the problem by installing a new 30-minute-counter wheel.....he has to took the whole movement into it´s parts....this will cost me around 250$......wow what a pricey rep I will own soon. Talk to you soon, Theo
  22. Thanx guys. I will try a good wathmaker next week, hemainly deals with pocket watches.....maybe he can do it w/o noticing it´s a rep 188. Will update you, best wishes, Theo
  23. Hi The Zigmeister, some weeks ago you gave really good advice on how to remove the stem from a valjoux 7753 in my PAM188 chrono. This morning I did the first steps, everything went smooth....untill I tryed to remove the first silver subdial hand. After I got the subdial hand seperated I noticed that there should be a hole in the hand to sit on a pin on the movement...this pin now sticks on the subdial hand. QUESTION: did I break this pin from the movement? Can this be replaced? Will Palpatine in Europe do this work? Thanks for helping....I am EU based and just need to know who can fix my watch????!!!! Thanks in advance, Theo P.S.: I do not have a digi cam for pic´s sorry.
  24. @ veni12 You have to go a looooong way to become a PAM expert. Best wishes for that. Theo
