  1. Beautyful piece.......please give the timemachine a light spin and a week ahead Thx for the info, Theo
  2. Thx for the info. Yes you are correct, she sets the record for best pricing....and if you do not need a proper communication (only the facts needed) she is the Queen of King
  3. @ pbe2410 ...congrats, this is a sweet watch and it grows on me day by day......mine should be here by the end of the week. Did you get this one from Mrs. King....and if so : how long was it
  4. Hi V. I hope my order will not take that long.....yours seems to be still outside on the other half of the planet?! Give us an update, please, Theo
  5. rollie.....thx for pointing out.....I did noticed that in the pics from the dealers.....but it does not really answer my question: will it be this new closure mechanism? I am soooo close to order that one....cheers mates, The
  6. Hi K., what model did you order??? I am interested in those new released Scuderias with 7750b1. And what I am really asking myself: is the crown of the rep the same mechanism as the real deal (bayonett closure)??? Thx for responding, Theo
  7. Hola.....so you got the OP chocolate-box.....some of the dealers got those end of last year, I assume it was w/o the sweets and it
  8. Hi guys, I have both watches and like to take the chrystals to a company that does AR coating. Only problem is....how to get the damned chrystals out of the case? Remove the bezel first...but how???? Any experience is greatly appriciated, thx for helping a hungry colector out, best wishes, Theo
  9. Hi All, just curious about the new BCE....I saw different threads about this watch with GREY dial and some say GRAPHIT dial.... QUESTION 1: is there any difference or are those forumers talking bout the same watch? QUESTION 2: how does this watch wear compared to Pannies (the 44mm versions), bigger, smaller, equal??? Thx for letting me know, Theo
  10. ....the link from jonthebhoy is good....but you have to use paint! If you just want to age the lume...try this: Get a 80 WATT lamp used for a reptiles terrarium (pet shops sell those) with high UV portion.....get the dial out and place it under the lamp (about 10-15cm away)...be cautious with the lamp, it´s getting really hot and you have to use a bulp holder made of ceramic (NOOOO plastic!)....after 10-15 hours you should see the lume getting dark.....and take care to look after that dial every 1/2 hour.....to avoid going too far This process will turn your dial vintage.....but also the lume will suffer....so I like the idea of a good vintage repaint way better ......if you use a sandwich dial (e.g. a panny-dial) it is much easier to paint....and in addition try some fingernail varnish, let it dry half way and then press on the upper part of the sandwich dial...this will make the numbers and indezees 3-D look-alike. Theo
  11. Andrew my man....this is great news ....but this info comes right before CNY :cc_chinese: ....and I have to wait nooooowwwwwww....what a teaser Theo
  12. .....hey E!....you did great on that piece....engraved inscription on dial, extrem patina (that one was deep down in the sea for 20 years, right?) and varnish to cover the indizees...cool. Now you have to get rid of that shine on the case Theo
  13. QUESTION: ....does anybody know about that circled fine lines that are engraved into the real dial (saw it in the above gen. pics)....does the grey dial rep got these???? Thx for letting me know...the BCE grows on me and I might go for a grey dial version!! Cheers mates, Theo
  14. ...changing the hands is no problem, take 217/127 hands or buy some new ones from DSN. The thing that will allways scream REEEEPPPPP is the dial color, the gen uses an ash-grey / brown / faded black......I can´t describe but it definetly does NOT look black! I have the 232 for around 5 months now and it a beautiful piece, the case has got the correct shape and a good screwed back (allthough missing seriel No.) and the BEST (BEST!!!) crystal on a PAM rep I have seen so far (and I saw a lot ). I would recommend this watch......and I hope the factories will come up with an upgraded version of the 232 and the correct 249! Theo
  15. Hi Tourby, messe 15mm......but thats not with adigital callipper Theo This watch is soooo nice, classy and dressy, can´t take my eyes off it....sometimes the dial is silver, sometimes, grey, than black, than....
  16. ...got a PAM089 recently.....the case is a bit thicker than in a normal handwound panny....but it is just the bezel that is higher than normal due to the 7750 used. Theo P.S.: got it from Andrew in a wowza 4 days from CN to EU!
  17. ...this funny read, all liky post like that See watches, I found pic, me want watch of all collection. Uuuuaahhhhh, this is a great post with lots of info......go ahead! Theo
  18. ANGUS: will the production take as long as the production of the PAM187/194 diver strap??? We have not heared of that run for a long time......any news???? Theo
  19. @joujeh I have that Navitimer World/GMT for some months now, got the white dialed version (looks cleaner allthough the dial is crowded) and wear it on a dark gray leather strap. The size is 46mm but it does not appear that big, this size fits greatly into the Navitimer design (all others are a tad too small), it wears way smaller than a 47mm FIDDY. Also the thickness is no problem at all.....actually the caseback seems to "cascade" from the outside to the inside. Overall this Navi is a stunning piece, I love mine and wear it to "dress-down-business-dates". For the size......don´t you worry my friend......for the black dial....rethink cause the dial has no AR coating at all and a black dial shows heavy reflections! My 0.02$ Theo P.S.:...sorry no wrist shot at hand!
  20. .......thx a lot....that was what I was looking for......I decided Theo
  21. I vote for the SS version...any color will be nice. I had the yellow one on my wrist before Xmas and have to say it is a very nice watch. If you are used to 47mm watches this big fella will be no prob. I would buy a rep of that because its design is unusual and unknown, noone will call you out on it The real deal is about 3.200$ and thats a way too high priced thingy, the little red spot has got NO function and even the crown is NOT screwn down, heh? NOT screw down cron for an U-boat watch?? Hhahaha. So come along you rep-gods....rep this if you can. Just my 0.02$ Theo
  22. Mark, verything is done nicely.....hope your next dial will have the RAD...PA... engraved/filled with color and NOT printed. Best Theo
  23. Morgan....thank you for that pics...the 1st one mad me LMAO....but the 2nd gave my another kick to push myself one step further to Andrews store......I want it! theo
  24. Guys, this is an interesting thread to read....there have to be positive and negative opinions, thats allways the cream on the cake. I personally like the watch but have to think over and over again, last time I bought a watch that was NO Panny.....I regret it 2 days after paying cause another very interesting watch came out and I have to buy again, damn...don´t wanna have this dilemma again Theo
  25. Does anyone know the lugs size??? the strap is bad and needs to be replaced! Thx, Theo P.S.: I like the watch and while wearing it ALL people will ask about
