I really do like the watch....I waited for a new T3 for the last 2 years but the small size allways stopped me from buying one. Now they imprived the size (me hopes) to a whopping 48mm!!! I mailed KING allready to confirm size and dial color (really dark grey????) and get a price tag. If the price is right, I will be soooooo in and buy this piece. I don

MBW came up with a new dial version right after I did my last purchase....LOL....that kept me buying again and again I always loved the diverse LE and SE AP put on the market......I saw the GINZA Offshore and was amazed....than I saw the ORCHARD ROAD and was in love again....so my brain

Nice pics......and I see your HBB suffers the same illness my ss HBB has....the running 12 hour counter Theo

I like the watch.....but the design looks stolen (the designer might be an Offshore fan ) further more I cannot understand why a 43mm watch is called XXL???? At least I second the words above....why the hell do the manufactorers concentrate on such a model when there are dozens of "We wanna have" watches out there (better AP ROO...and the new 48mm line, cheaper HBB with more variety in mat black/grey/gold....IWC BP.....) Just my 0.02$.....I look out for Xmas. Theo

But beside that new BAT BANG.....how about this ALLBLACK MAT BANG???? No need to immitate the material (Tantalum) but you can just satin finish (or beat-blast) the whole watch....and than give it a nice PVD coating.....thats soooooo easy! Give me a nice HBB in parts and I do the mods DEALERS and MANUFACTORERS can you hear me????????? Theo

Dear all....dear Rob, let me first stress: I DID USE THE SEARCH BUTTON...with no result, sorry! I have a nice watch with an asian 7750 in it, unfortunately the watch runs like [censored]....it is way too slow! So my question is how can I adjust the watch, what are the wheels and adjusters I can play with? (the watch is -1min in only 1 hour) Thanks for helping out.... Theo GY

I think I may have found a donor for personal ROO project!
MADRED7 replied to anton's topic in Other Brands Area
It is of course automatic....and yes, the subdial spacing seems to be equal to the AP...go meassure yourself.....but sum up all the costs first....MBW AP ROO is 600$ + this watch for the movement 750$ + get a gen dial ~ 450$ (or even more) and the watchsmith that does the swap 150$ = 1,950$!!!! HELLO? Who needs that....noone. -
.....how about one of the newly released AP ROO in 48mm size....the Shaquille O
-
....well let me think.....eerrrh I better send you a watch for a little overhaul. P.S.: will check with Jen in the next weeks for an ETA 2836 service....my wifes DRSD died talk to you soon, Theo

Thx The Zigmeister for the fast reply..... I talked to CousinsUK and the do have all the things I will need (crown, Stem-extension) but I will take your advice...using the extension will make the stem too long. Thx for saving me some GBP Theo

Dear all, I am about to change the crown and tube on a PAM249. The watch has got the UNITAS 6497 and a screw down crown....because I don

Movement preview - 7750, running seconds at "12"
MADRED7 replied to Chronus's topic in General Discussion
...interesting read of course. Ordering my 4th MBW AP ROO I was asked by the seller: "....why do you buy 4 of the same watches only with different dials? What will you do when the new movement with seconds at 12 is out?"......I just replied that I don -
I did not modd RLX dials but bright UV light will help ya....buy a light bulp for a terrarium (has got extrem UV) and use a lamp (NO plastic please...the lamp will get HOT!) and place the dial around 5cm under that light....let it stay for 30 minutes...take a look.....not satisfied.....15 minutes more........not satisfied.....15 minutes more... This will of course damage the luminova on the watch but gives it a nice used, dark orange effect. Theo

I love this site.....the best info-summary you can find.... I would not have cared for the datewheel or the color of dial/strap, but if this really has got only single sided AR....I will step back from it! What a shame, a 320$ watch and weak AR.....this will scream FAKE all over the place! Can one of the dealers please step up and clarify!!! Thx, Theo
-
This CORUM could have been 1:1 if only the wording ADMIRALS CUP would have been in the correct fonts.....they used the old-type corum font (kind of handwritten) instead of the quite normal (Arial style) fonts. What a shame....doing a very nice watch....killing it on 2nd look CORUM OK, OK.....there seems to be an old and a new AC.....with both fonts....who cares, I will buy it anyway!

And I second sssurfers words....and stress the fact THERE HAS NEVER BEEN AN OFFICIAL white dialed Titanium PAM (44mm Base)! I have to admit that I met several `Risti that made/mixed cases and dials to their own taste (e.g. the white dialed PVD base ?) So we can blame this on the grey market where everything is possible but nothing is official. Anyway, a nice watch! Theo
-
The PAM055 was sold from 2001-2002 (C-D-series) but only with brown dial! A white dialed PAM base or Marina only came in stainless steel but never ever in Titanium. This watch you will get looks nice but it is a fantasy model!!! Theo
