  1. His newly upgraded PAM082......that one is spot on right now (befor you judge...I had the real deal in my hands....its only the caseback that will show the truth...not from a distance) Theo
  2. Dave, thanks for the informativ thread...a great read with a cappuccino at 7:30 am Anyway....ANGUS is a good guy...was my dealer-of-choice (DOC) from 2005-early 2007....and he is my DOC from the beginnig of this year again...he has outstanding customer service, TOP-notch....I will stick to him. Theo P.S.: Hope our dial-swap will be done soon
  3. ratchpot....you need to have the last word!? Theo
  4. The numbers are way too greenish....and the caseback is not...errrh lets say not 1st class. I saw the NEW and UPGRADED DSN PAM082 some minutes ago....wow, he really improved this model, I love it. With the new C1 lume it is on top of my WANTED-list right now Theo
  5. 1 AP ROO from MBW.......650USD 1 AP ROO from WEMPE.........17,500USD
  6. I agree with FISH You cannot "overwind " an UNITAS 6497, even if it
  7. We will see the white dialed AP RO chrono in the next months....hopefully in 39mm
  8. I was informed that there is only black and brown leather for the hornbacks...but I might be corrected from Chris! Theo
  9. There are quite a lot grey dialed watches on the rep-market right now (I feel like you...GREY is MY color!): AP RO chrono Paris (grey and black dial) AP T3 grey dial (wonderful dial-color...allthough the watch itself is off) PAM089 (anthrazit dial....a beauty....sometimes grey, sometimes silver, sometimes black) Chopard MM chrono (grey dial....a wonderful watch...detailed and worth every cent) Maurice Lacroix (chrono from the masterpiece collection)...well, not my cup of tea but the dial is grey PORSCHE flat 6.....it is THE grey dialed piece to get....beautiful dial color and 99% accurate (eerrrh the automatic of course!) Roger Dubuis Big square...there is also one with grey dial....mmmh, but this would be the last to buy There might be many more ... so please chime in if you know! Good luck on your hunt.... Theo P.S.: I like your 009
  10. OK. Will get back to Jennifer for a free space in your schedule. Thx for the info, Thorsten
  11. Well....so I assume I have to send it to your home in the near future for a fix. Will contact Jennifer for an appointment. Do you have replacement stems at hand? Thorsten
  12. Points cleared There will allways be good and bad deals at one and the same time. Cheers
  13. I do understand what you mean....when I choose my dealer for a special watch I do a research and if the dealer I want to buy from has got bad reputation or bad feedbacks I will stay away from him (never bought from TTK due to that). But this was different....I had deals with APbands starting in May 2007 ... 1 year ago....since than I was/am a happy customer. And thats the reason I will buy again! If I was in your situation with the very 1st deal went bad.....I would consider NOT to buy again, but I would allways try to work something out ... in private and silence and if that does not work I might shout (I assume you did it like that)! We can only judge the book by the cover when it comes to internet deals....we have to see both sides...and speaking of this I will and cannot judge what/how/why your deal went bad. You concluded to stay away from them.....I concluded to stick to them....
  14. Who are you Dani to judge for others??? How can you disagree with a good transcation I had with APbands straps???? I thought we can all share our experience here .... well yours was bad (sorry to hear), mine was allways very good and I heared of others with very good expiriences as well. I will stress this again: I had very good and honest deals with APbands and I will deffo buy again!!!
  15. OK ratchpot....I hear you loud and clear, but speaking honestly: "Has there ever been an AP rep you actually liked?" I only read post from you where you judge about the errors and flaws and how bad the rep is. Not saying you are wrong, there are a lot of parts in the known AP reps that are far away from being real or even closer to fantasy than Donald Duck But anyway, I like the design of the AP
  16. Chris, I would be in for a "Rubber-clad" (black dial, silver subdials and PVD bezel) with black hornback! And of course our very special piece (you know what I mean, you talked to MBW about my request ) Theo (aka Thorsten)
  17. I will try that again this afternoon....frustrating when you have a brand-spanking-new watch and cannot wear it (errh OK, I have 2 other EoD
  18. Dear All, I got an EoD from Angus today....when I tried to set the time and date the stem and crown came out of the movement....unfortunately it was only half of the stem...the rest was inside the asian 7750 in thze normal winding position! I managed to get the broken stem out, canibalized one of my older watches to get a 7750 stem and tried to get the stem/crown back in....pressing the release button and push it back in...but it does not work, I feel a pressure against the stem when pushing in....can it be that the movement was in the winding position when the stem came out??? Please help..... thx guys, much appreciated, Thorsten
  19. I bought several straps from them.....and at least 1 custom made. The communication was excellent, honest and friendly. They have good offers and really try to work any issue that might occure. I will deffo buy again, Theo
  20. Too cool for skool This watch looks awesome....and the date in black/white really suites the numbers and the strap, I like it. I ordered my hornback from Pamfried right away last week...I know I will love it! If Pamfried sticks to his words he will deffo get more of my business.....if only MBK makes some more different models...especialy the rubber-clad with a correct rubber-bezel would be nice and I will be first in the row Cheers mate, Theo
  21. That looks amazing AAA+ The APband straps are top-notch and J. is good to work with. So now you have a strap/conversion nearly the same value the complete watch had way cool! Enjoy them, Theo
