  1. Read it in a german watch board. And in the IWC forum.
  2. Wonderful pictures, I'm glad you like it!
  3. Wonderful result! Thank you for sharing this.
  4. Wait a minute - That ain't a wallclock?! Seriously, I think this should be worn over a jacket. Still a piece of watchdiving history.
  5. They are said to be the same versions, but I don't know about the movement. Mine has a 2824-2, some have a 2836-2. Both very good movements, but if you plan a dw swap with a lello dw, you should know which one you have before ordering. I would go with a AR'ed one. If it's not good enough for you, you can remove it anyway. PS: Not everything has to be ceramic...
  6. Don't count on it. IWC is starting too many new models while they shut down some every few years. I wonder how long the aquatimers will survive with the new ones coming... Remember GST?
  7. Today I read that the Ingenieur 3227 will go out of production this year. Even though I love their watches, I also hate IWC's model policy. I can't believe they discontinue this watch. I am glad that we don't have this problem with our replicas yet.
  8. He wore a Secret Service watch. He got is as a gift to what I know.
  9. Weather's beautiful, so I took a walk with my 3717 on my wrist. Have a nice day everyone!

  12. Bergies is a true gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. I bought a large sized Birkin for my gf from him and it arrived only a week later in better quality than I ever thought possible. Why look somewhere else and risk to get scammed?
  13. Started this morning with the mighty Ingy chrono and later switched to this beauty:
  14. Nix da, hier wird spoken english! Welcome to RWG! PS: You might think about becoming a supporter as well - lots of advantages and info waiting in the secret supporter section
  15. Well you might be right, not that much danger of magnetism in most areas. But it is the history of the Ingenieur, for what it was created. A watch that claims to be an homage to the historical Ingenieur should at least try to match up with its roots, or am I wrong here? Still frickin beautiful design, but I'd rather buy an authentic vintage Ingenieur for 6 grands.
  16. Love this watch, I wonder how liong it will take to see the first replicas of the vintage collection. What I don't like is the see through caseback. Makes no sense with an Ingenieur!
  17. Now that's one cool present G.! Very nice pictures as well, thanks for sharing them.
