Good to know. Perhaps my misconception is on the FS threads, it is often EU members. I guess the US members are just happier with their watches!

I have a soft spot for the PO, especially in orange. I own a gen Aquaracer with a black bezel, a rep Sub with a black bezel, and a DSSD on the way... Need some color in my life! But watch, I'll end up buying a PO in black!

I haven't heard anything but I can't wait to see pictures on people who buy them... Great looking watch!

I agree, I think frankens are done for you to do and enjoy. Like Sloth said, you reack a point where you can't keep them. Plus, sharing your work (selling) gives you reason to do it all over again!

I got mine on the FS forum. BK's looks awesome, a little rich for my blood, though!

I think the luke warm interest is because not everyone likes the SDDS & those that do have OD'd on them.

Can't go wrong with the Panerai! The 177 is pretty hot right now... no where has them! I don't know if you're into the titanium case but check it out. Otherwise, 005! That will be my next purchase unless I do a lefty like the 219 or the 026K!

I was the first post in this thread with my opinion on josh and value of knowing you will be taken care of when something goes wrong as opposed to saving a few bucks.

As fate would have it, my PO died yesterday when I got up. It had been starting to wind rough for a week or two, but now it barely goes into the winding position and sometimes the rotor spins while winding.

I emailed josh..got a reply 27 minutes later. He apologized for the watch and gave full detailed inst on how to get it back to him and assured me he would make it right.

Keep in mind the watch is a month out of warranty.

This is why I do not put alot of value in price shopping and nitpicking over 20-30$.

Good to know Josh stands behind his stuff. If (actually when) I order a PO, I think you've sealed the deal on where I'm going!

Great piece! I was the same way... never huge on Panerais but then one day, I just said, "damn, those are amazing looking watches"!
