Thanks Aeromatic, I think I am shifting to the dark side now with the vintage look, I don' t see the blemish unless I go macro on it but I'm thinking a lot about a gilt gloss dial with golden hands :-)

Just got this one. From DOMI it is better than I expected, I love this little sub :-) Swiss 2824-2 nickle plated movement Old yuki case, Gen 703 crown Gen Tropic 19 Yuki dial ( has a blemish at 4' marker, trying to find a solution to this :-( ) PMWF insert NATO 007 strap Please any suggestion to make her better are more than welcome.

Another pic, I am in love with the 5513, nice to wear, already looking for a better dial as the Yuki one came with a small blemish on the 4' marker, any suggestions? Thanks to DOMI and Akira and all the wonderful treads from RWG.

A rep with a ETA 7753 movement? For 575 US? Sounds to good to be true Welcome to the forum, make a watchmaker check the movement swiss or not it will probably need some servicing.

I´ve heard somebody had brushed the rehaut and then inserted a ring to imitate the small inner edge on the gen without widening the dial opening. I have been looking for a solution for a decent GMT II and I might just try the BK explorer with a Clarks Bezel and this this Perfect clones Dial, ( I have been comparing with gen fotos and it is not so bad, some special treatment to the surface and new luminova and voilá), just wondering if it would fit ?

What about brush and straight that rehaut, it would look pretty decent then ? Even the insert looks acceptable, The Dial is the other disaster I think. I agree with BT they have the bloody Explorer case and all the elements to do a good GMT II replica yet they keep doing these epic fails!!!! Why?

Getting mine from Domi on the 10th, I used the Old Yukiwatch case with the correct rehaunt, gen 702 crown and tube, exactly as per Goldfinger Nato strap , gen tropic 19 crystal, yuki dial and hands,gen lug bars, yuki pearl, 19mm rolex buckle and a very nice insert sold to me by Akira. Hopefully it Should look 99% exactly like this one on the pic.

Hi Sneed, All of the above is correct but, what if he did not moved the movement at all? and he just made an adaptor ring to the DW or modyfied the dial feet he has all the gadgets to do that? or he modified the inside of case? Then again with the reps they all came in all sorts of flavors and colors, maybe I was lucky with my 2 reps. For the ETA 7753 I have no idea but I have not seen any drilling on the ETA 7750 reps. Anyway I have a new project after he finishes my 5513 sub, I will go for a tricompax Navi, with gen Dial, gen DW and Gen sliderule, then we will see if it would take a gen ETA 7753 Pics to come soon.

My GOD!!! Soooo many beautiful watches, I´m getting the 1:1 V-GMT 1675 from Trevor any thoughts and recommended modifications. Well, I don´t think he does any drilling, I did not insisted, this is he´s job not his hobby and I respect that, he is in his full right keep it to himself. He used an other way may be some case modifications and custom made adapter rings.He did not had to shave the Dial, overall a much cleaner mod than drilling a hole and gluing a new tube. For the Gen Slide-rule he shaved the outer diameter by 1.5mm. I do not know if he had made a eta 7753 Navi, I might be tempted to get a gen Dial, DW and Slide-rule and see if we coud fit a gen ETA 7753 without being too invasive.

But you can use any case, Domi has found a trick to make all parts fit, he won´t reveal it but it comes out very well as I gave him a V4 navitimer fighters rep and he installed a gen DW without being sunken directly to the Asian 7750 movement.

I found a Navi case V1 or V2 in the Silk Market in Beijin, the rest is all gen from Breitling. The Crystal that came with the case was sent to FineDD for AR but I´m looking for a better AR as this AR is kind of brownish, any suggestions are welcome.

Fake, thick slide rule, sunken DW wrong DW font, too thick hour hand, too cheap to be true specially on a TT navi.

Backhorn, I have not heard anything about the factories stopping the production of rep Navi´s but even so there are other models that uase the 7750/7751 asian movement is a direct swap. I m almost 100% sure that your watch will fit a gen 7750, but then I will recomend to you to get a gen DW, gen handset and do the crystal AR and relume of the rep dial. Best Regards M75
