Finally these issues are bubbling to the surface. I've been a VRF member since essentially the first few months it started... Lotsa things have changed over the many many VRF years in the collector's world---but one thing hasn't: sellers who cheat. You reap what you sow. It's time to pay your dues, so to speak. At least the climate is now more conducive to weeding the vermin out of the grasses and out into the open!

Yea does anybody know what darn stem will fit? I've got a lovely working MM Daytona from DW (the first one I ever bought from him back in the day). Dam stem is broken!

I never knew about the triangle dial marker shape. I can confirm that my V1 dial has the correct shape though. I guess that only the V1 dial is correct. Thank you Eddie Lee for my V1 watch I bought as a pre-release way back when EL used to dash 100m in the rain with watches as part of his QC prior to shipping :-)

EsDee is on homageforums.com and he's also here on RWG. He made my bronze Mille Metri. It's really fantastic. I posted a thread here with some pics... He's got several other unique pieces that he has made. He is a true Gentleman as well.

Yes beware. There is lots of interesting due diligence anecdotes regarding the fiasco online. It's too bad, he had a good product and some cool ideas. I'm not sure what really happened in the end. One day I'll find out from my acquaintance who knows the guy perhaps.

An acquaintance of mine knows him. They both are coffee lovers. This acquaintance has the prototype, I've seen it. It's pretty nice in person. Anyhow, too bad Olivier watches blew it.

Olivier watches is no more. He took a bunch of peoples $ and never delivered. Nor will he respond to any emails. Very peculiar how he burned so many bridges.
