  1. sjedwardz- The crown is OEM the He one is just as it was. You will need a tube if you get a crown due to the internal thread. Ubi- Ta mate
  2. Hey Ubi Heres ya.... full frontal
  3. Yep you can put a OEM it no worries and in my opinion a good mod. Most of the material house stock them and not too difficult to do. OEM also has internal threading and just feels stronger.
  4. Hold up whats a TRL? Do i need one?
  5. Maybe its a similar set up to the 1950 where it comes out the front as the dial seems to be holding it in place. Try using a blade along the joint around the top ans see if the crystal pops off. *edit, Sorry ken not copying just slow at typing!
  6. No worries! I got the 063 just after they came out and love the fact they are a proper gmt mov not like the modded 2836s. If they are really going to run out I would get in fast as they may not surface again.
  7. @AMK000 It only jumps when you set the 24 hour hand and moves smoothly with crown set in.
  8. Fancy pics bytor
  9. You can get it here RC TRITEC.

Some more pics like 700clubs thread for comparision. some pics of the crown which i can tell ya is really hard to capture.
  12. Probably not as the hand sizes would more than likely be different and the 2893 is an expensive movement anyhow, then you have to find someone to fit it. Your best bet if you want a 2893 version is to sell your one then buy the 2893 version before they apparently go! I got a 063 2893 from EL when they first came out and have not regretted it for a second, its one I wont be selling that's for sure.
  13. Great review good see you posting these across

Thanks guys, I have had this piece for well over a year and a half form maria when he/she/they were on TRC. This is how it was Since then the dial, crown, insert have been changed and I did some work on the crown guards. When I did the TZ watch school they sent me brand new mov as part of the course so changed the movements over and used the other one to practice on. Its been fished to this stage for a while and Im pretty happy as is, I was going to put a gen crown and tube in but the crown tube side that goes into the case is a smaller diameter so would have to retap the case and think I may give that a miss Joe and Rob have help alot over the time with parts and advice so thanks fellas
  15. Well done CJ and everyone else, its all a good bit of fun the more pics posted on the forum the better I say Thanks Veni for setting it up
  16. That may be a mid sized version which may tend to show larger subdial placement.
  17. Heres my gabo strap the first pic is when it first came midway through last year, the second is the colour now. I normally have it on the 111 but dont have it handy.

Is it yellow? Perhaps my monitor is on the way out as looks OK on my one, I thought they may look a bit bright as white back ground can do that and some peoples pictures sometimes look a little dark to me. Is the last one yellow as its B&W apart from the bezel? The dial and insert were ordered from joe and not what came on the watch.
  19. Hey Pugwash How do you find the weight? I know obviously it is going to be lighter than the steel models but I mean more the overall feel, I used to have a Ti chrono avenger which felt solid but they are bloody massive. As far as I'm concerned that's the nicest of the three available models.... I'm getting so close to cracking its not funny.

Heres some pics of my sub, just bought an el cheapo light tent (it was time to move on from the cardboard box with baking paper over the cut out holes )
  21. 183 on a strap from Aaron, I think it matches perfectly with the watch and can fit on the fiddy!
  22. Hey jsph I bought it from another member (2005sub) in parts including a set of genuine hands, I just put it back together, not sure who he bought it from though.
  23. I think its supposed to be a very dark blue but pics from the omega site look almost black.
  24. Some times if you get a little glare on the crystal it can be helpful to remove it. I use this method Click me! I have spent about 10 minutes doing it to a couple of your pics to show you (hope you dont mind). Im no photoshop expert but I find it can help, I also removed some dust with the healing brush.
