Apart from the ones already mentioned I also use Cousins for watch parts, they are UK based and shipping for me is much cheaper than ottofrei and julesborel. Findingking also have some cheap stuff that can be handy but I would not get screwdrivers etc from them.

Good pic as has been said before a little work after in software can really bring out the details. As far as lightboxes go I found this link helpful Click me I just use a box with the sides and top cut out and covered the holes with baking paper works for me!

@ the playful eyes Tom has explained it pretty well (ta mate), on the genuine its a 12 hour counter which stays at 12 unless you have the chrono running. As the 6 sub dial does not function as part of the chrono and follows the hour hand so I froze it, as to me a chrono that has subdials all over the place just looks wrong. Dont get me wrong I am up front with all my reps being reps I just enjoy trying to "improve" them as a bit of fun

I have this one for a while its a repost from the old site. All in all a very nice piece has some flaws but I dont mind at all. I have not had any problems that some people have experienced with this model . I really like it as its my only white dial watch and feels very substantial plus the braclet on these is sweet!

Great topics Edge and Pugwash! I also find it helpful to check the levels and move the arrows in to the edges of the histogram.... hard to explain without the pics, how do you take screenshots? Then theres healing tools to remove dust, selecting dial for seperate contrast, colour balance if your camera cant set white balance..... etc etc Some of these programmes can be a daunting at first but just muck about on them after all its digital (free)so take lots of pics and have a go at manipulating them... you maybe surprised at the results.

This is a repost of my Omega Speedmaster from I received from EL about a year and a half ago, its such a timeless design and has such a wonderful history. I have killed the sub dial at 6 as per the original (stays at 12). The venus movement 6 sub dial follows the main hands as a 12 hour indicator and is not part of the stopwatch function.
