  1. There's nothing like a gen! Enjoy it for years to come!!!
  2. What about somebody selling as set of "Panerai Aftermarket Hands?" That certainly can't be legal!
  3. I've seen so many sellers getting away with selling replica crap by simply calling it "aftermarket." How can this be legal? Why is it that a set of "aftermarket" Panerai hands is allowed to be sold on eBay? Or, they simply state that the item is "refinished."
  4. The project began with this watch.
  5. IWC 3253 Mark XV gen dial gen hands gen crown gen crown tube Swiss 2892-A2 19mm lug width correct caseback
  6. Yes! Crazy! And, a crazy good looking result too.
  7. No Panerai watch with a 6497 in it commands a price higher than $500. When I see a PAM 203a on eBay selling for $70K, I just laugh.
  8. If this has a 19mm lug, I'm pretty sure you will not see a bracelet option for it. If it has 20mm lug (which is incorrect), then a bracelet will be available.
  9. WHAT A [censored] SCUMBAG!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS [censored]!!!!!
  10. And the 3717 with Swiss 7750: I have a spare lume "marker" for the one missing at 3 o'clock. I haven't glued it on yet.
  11. I haven't decided if I'm going to file down that area on the case near the crown as per gen.
  12. Here are some pics of the Mark XV 3253 project: Swiss 2892: and genuine for comparison: Still waiting for my "Fish" crown to arrive. That's the crown for the 3717.
  13. I have: 3717 Fliegerchronograph with gen dial, gen hands, gen crown, gen tube and Swiss 7750 with German day wheel. This one I may send to Avit for DLC treatment. 3253 Mark XV with gen dial, gen hands, gen crown, gen tube and Swiss 2892. I'm using the case from the XV Spitfire since it has the correct lug width (19mm) and caseback engravings. Hopefully I'll assemble these soon. I've had the parts since July!
  14. Was a rep of the PAM 414 ever produced? If so, which dealer stocks it?
  15. That's hilarious! Boutique watch with a generic 6497...albeit, probably tuned. But, still... lulz!!!!
  16. Are supposed to guess which one is gen and which is rep? If so, 1 is the rep.
  17. If I could see the bottom of the bezel, it'll take me a nanosecond to see if it's a gen or rep.
  18. It's a Tudor Hydronaut with an aftermarket dial.
