Gorgeous Safari, always wanted one!!! I am like you OP, and well like many on here.... But like you as I have just discovered this scene, and merely couldn't get over how accurate/unbelievable these reps looked that I just had to try one out to start (and compare it to a gen of mine) being the PAM 359.... After getting it , looking it over, then grabbing mine and comparing... It made me think, WHY SPEND THAT MONEY?!?! Well, then when you put on the genuine piece and wear it out, you just feel alright doing so, with the rep? Not so much, I feel like I have to hide it, and like i'm trying to be something i'm not... It helped me although with my decision on a black face rubberclad... Picked up a rep of it and loved the way it wore and fit, and eventually found a used one on TZ for a good deal and scooped it up, love it very much so and don't regret that one bit. Beautiful piece buddy... Almost bought one at the PAM boutique here in Boca a few months back.... I loved it's simplicity, and heritage... As I warmed up to Panerai and grew to love the brand, it was for all of the LE and extravagant piece's.. After having owned some LE's, and such, I now find just the more simple Panerai's are what does it for me... I want a 000 but waiting for the 390 Where did you source this beauty?

Crazy indeed... I have been a genuine PAM owner for the past 7 years... The lust back then was incredible at that time, now a day's, since i've found this site and the super rep's... It makes my genuine piece's feel like BLAH lol, kind of a waste .... I still have a gen 162/359 and 005 PVD piece, and the Panerai aura has just worn off immensely... Now to read this? And to read historical things about Panerai, other cost cutting avenues they've taken, etc etc... Not to mention people making me realize their base movements are [censored] and don't demand the price for the base watches at all (i've opened my eyes) and am no longer in delusion...

Please do so... I will add though, my DSN 360 seems to be different from older DSN piece's as well, so i'll post mine up too.. This is his newest one, how old is yours?

Hey guy's, recently saw a newer daytona listed on Josh's site I guess it was, sec at 6 but with added jewel's making it more reliable? Any info?? Which is the best Daytona out now a day's, prefer white dial, like black though as well, thoughts? Tried searching, but haven't found any recent threads on daytona examples Mart

Looks great, but, the pvd/dlc is much darker than a GEN 360, and indices more white than vintage yellow/orange.... I'll post up pic's of mine tonight from DSN

DSN's latest version is the pencil lead grey pvd... It is closest to gen, almost and just about IDENTICAL... Friend has the genuine, I brought the DSN... You can hardly tell, very minor differences, the DSN is the best version out and nothing will top it !

Would love to se V3 too.. What are the stated flaws on this version?? Some say v1 is best dial?

Pam 359 is a great example Enjoy your gmt ii, awesome watch, I'm just a bigger guy use to big pieces and I bought a dssd and had my gmt both genuine, wound up never touching the gmt c! Looks too small on me, but perfect on other peoples wrists :/
